Hey everybody! My name is Rachael. I live in Birmingham, AL. I'm 22 years old. I'm 5'9.5" and 185 lbs. My big weight loss goal is to get down to 150. My first mini-weight loss goal is to get down to 180 by Christmas. Just graduated from college last May and headed into the real world of being married and having a real job.

I've gained 25 since I got married 6 months ago. I had lost quite a bit for the wedding so afterwards, I was just so relieved to be able to eat again that I lost all my good habits and gained all this weight. So I'm hoping this website will create so motivation. So if you'd like, please become a contact or a motivator for me! I need all the help I can get!

Please feel free to drop me a line and ask me what I'm eating today, have I worked out/do I have plans to work out, ect. I already had some minor successes yesterday because I didn't eat some cookies at work because I knew I'd have to tell my motivator. I need you guys to help keep me responsible!!! Thanks!!!

(BTW, does anybody know why I can't get my pic to load?)

Hey Rachael,

Good to have you on the team. Good luck with your goals, and please feel comfortable asking whatever is on your mind.

I've found there to be a wealth of resource on this site, so just put it out there and we'll all support you all the way.

Take good care

Dean

HOLA Rachael and bienvenidos a traineo (sorry for the limited Spanish vocabulary, lol)

As Dean said, this place is great and the most supportive thing I've ever been a part of, which is a little strange since everyone on here is virtually a stranger to the other.

I guess it just goes to show that there ARE still kind people in the world who generally want to help others.

Again, bienvenidos a traineo! (welcome)

Welcome, Rachael.

Like Dean said, this site has a wealth of resource. To me, the biggest resource is that you can find a lot of knowledgeable and supportive people (like Jennifer, Dean,...) here.
