Hello, everyone! I'm obviously new to Traineo. I wanted to find a good site to track my progress, and from the few I evaluated this seems to be the best.
Anyway, I'm really sick and tired of being sick and tired. And overweight. I've been overweight nearly my entire life and I want to be healthy. I want to run. Plus, I got a promotion at work to a leadership role and I want to be an effective leader. I can't be effective if I don't have any self discipline.
The past two weeks I have made some dramatic changes in my life. Before, lunch would be at a restaurant eating high-calorie crap food. Now, I'm taking my lunch break at work to go to the gym, do a workout, and then eat a sensible meal at my desk (usually fruit, veggies, and an energy bar).
It's working so far. My energy levels have gone through the roof and I'm already starting to feel better. I'm starting to look forward to working out as a form of stress relief. My wife and best friend are doing the same thing so I already have a real life support group.
