hey everybody. my name is brittany and i am an 18 year old freshman in college. im trying to lose betwen 20-25 lbs in the coming months(n to avoid the freshman 15!) and tone my arms and legs! im new and have only been here for fifteen minutes or so,but already this site looks helpful. if anybody has any special tips that youd like to share, please do!

Welcome!!! Slow and steady is the best policy! Set some long and short term goals, ask questions when you need guidance, be realistic, pick an activity you like doing, and have fun!

I suggest you look into HIIT since being in university (like me), you lack time or energy.

So with HIIT you concentrate all your effort with little time. I'm extremely happy with the results so far and am very close to hitting my goal.

I agree with Jennifer G, slow and steady is the key....watch what you eat, exercise, and have fun remember you are in college.

Welcome Brittney!

For toning/lifting weights, proper form and consistany are the key. Eat nutritious foods and add your favorite cardio. Burn more calories than you consume and watch the frosting melt away!

Hi Brittany!

My best advice is to use your school's exercise facilities! I regret not making better use of the vast resources available when I was in school. I did take a few exercise courses as electives, which is another good idea.

Thank yalll! i do use my univeristie's gym. It's pretty nice so I try to take advantage of it every chance I get. As for beer...I dont drink it lite or not! haha. bu thanks for all of the help you've gieven me!
