Hello Everybody! I saw this site after browsing some pages in late night boredom and it really seems useful to me. I'm 19 and about 50 pounds overweight according to the doctor. I'm usually very good about starting diet plans but can never keep them going for more than 2-3 weeks. I work retail and walk around all day, so when I am at home I don't feel like doing much of anything. I really hope that I can accomplish my goal of losing 50 pounds. I think with this community, it's a possibility! From what I have read, everybody seems really nice and cool. Wish me luck, and don't skip on the motivation!

Welcome, Jacob,

And way to take the reigns.

You say you don't feel much like moving when you get home from work? Then may I suggest morning workouts? They set the tone for the day, charge your metabolism and the best part is, your exercise is CHECKED OFF so you can return home at night with a sense of accomplishment and the right to kick back and do, (but not eat ; ), what you like.

If knowledge is needed, bone up on nutrition and think about purchasing a heartrate monitor, (if you don't have one already), so you can be sure to make the very most of your workout time.
