I'm 24 and live in Arkansas, US. I lost 20 pounds a couple of years ago by walking, but then I started dating a guy (who became my husband) and hanging out with him instead of exercising. Since then, I've gained back the 20 and added about 10. My initial goal is to lose 35 pounds, and then maybe another 20. So far, I've been back on the wagon for a week and one day, and I've done great calorie-wise (probably the longest I've ever eaten right). If I can continue to drag my butt out of bed early like I have the past two days, I'll be doing great exercise-wise as well!

Well good luck! I have been at this for a while, not doing a ton of exercise (but im stepping it up) and eating right... and i've lost about 20 lbs over the past 6 months.

It takes a dedication to eating differently and exercise to change your life, but it has to become a habit. Think "I will continue to drag my butt..." not "If I can".
