Hey, Iv just joined and everything is very confusing atm.lol. Just wanted to ask if any of you have any good tips, iv been on the 'Slimming World' diet for quite a while now and cant seem to lose anything I know this is down to me having 'Hypothyroidism' which for you who dont know is an 'Under Active Thyroid' this prevents me from losing weight and also I can gain up to about 4+Ibs a week which for my age isnt good. Also I am a vegetarian doing the Slimming World diet, with the Slimming World diet you have the option of having a 'Green' or 'Red' day, on the Green you can eat as much pasta as you like but no meat and with the 'Red' you can eat as much meat as you like but no pasta, but on both days your allowed up to '15' syns (points) a day, so this might be an another reason why the weight is either not coming off or taking its time. if anyone has any tips that might be a success for me, Id be greatful to here from you all.

Thanks Guys

Leah

I love to excercise but lately with college and now work I find it hard to fit in, which is no excuse really. But the time I do have, I manage to do about:-
70 stomach crunches
20 maybe 30 tricep dips
A few sit ups

& around this time I'm absoulutely knackered so I give up lmao. Iv seen that the 'Kettlebell' is a big hit with celebs so I'm thinking about getting one, just want to know how effective they are really

I really think you need to get some more training in if you want to see success.

I would at least try to walk an hour a day. I know you can fit it in and that would be at least a good start. Throw in the stability ball what I think you were referring to. That would be a good start.

I do around 500 various crunches a day just to give you an idea.

When you do workout from listed above. You are burning just about 1/4 can of soda.

Eating right is half the battle now you just need to work on the other side of things. Well worth it.

I was told that you can have 10 sins a day on Slimming World with once a week having 15 - I have managed to lose 3 stone so far. But then again my thyroid is ok. My mum has thyroid problems too, & it really gets her down.. so big round of applause to you for still going for the weight loss.

Shwmae Leah! Vikki ydw'i. Dw'in byw yn Halibont Ar Wysg ger Aberhonddu. Dysgais i Gymraeg am un blwyddyn. Esgusodwch yn fy fyn spelling!!!!!

I found with Slimming World that my weight loss was far better when I didn't have pasta at all. I would usually have green days although I'm not veggie, but sticking with pulses and rice worked well for me. I have a mildly under active Thyroid but have not taken meds for it, although all the other women in my family do!

Vikki.
