I joined a few days ago. I've been poking around the site and I think I'm getting a handle on how everything works ... I think.

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I've been working hard at losing a lot of weight since July of last year. I had lost 40 pounds, then gained a good deal back recently. Since January of this year, life has been treating me pretty rough - I'll spare the details, but it's not pretty. Well, I figured it's time to fight back and take charge of my health again. I still have quite a ways to go.

So ... here I am!

hey, i just checked out your page. looks interesting. glad to have you with us!

it's good to see you've got a solid routine. if you keep control of your diet, and keep increasing those weights (on the dumbells) you should see fantastic results.

Welcome Tersie! Looks like you're off to a great start.

And just so you know, there are no "girly" pushups, unless of course you mean the handstand ones.

Thanks for the welcomes! The more I play around with this site, the more I am enjoying its features. I love being able to look at my workout efforts, diet efforts and weight trends graphed out side by side. That kind of says it all right there and will (hopefully) do well to keep me in line!
