Sadly, I'm not very tech-savvy so it may take me a while to figure out all the bells and whistles. Since I started working at a fitness benefits company, I figured I should start getting fit myself!

How do you all stay motivated to complete all the forms? I tried another site, but at the end of the day it's hard to make myself go back on the computer to track my food and my workout.

Cherie, welcome to traineo! I can relate to your comment about updating your workout and diet information as that's something I occasionally find myself struggling with. Something that may help is if you commit yourself to updating that information every day at a certain time, or if you at least commit to visiting the site a time or two each day, so that way you really have no excuse for not updating it since you're already here.

I also think the community aspect is a good source of motivation that if tapped, could help you stay committed to your new lifestyle and to diligently recording your progress here. I've been a member here for 7 months (basically since Traineo began) and I'm just now realizing what an outstanding resource this place is.

I've decided that at the very least, I'll pop in once a day just to see what kind of discussion is taking place and while I'm here, I'll make an entry in my journal and log my workouts for the day.

Like I said, I think integrating yourself into the community and participating in discussion will at least help you get back here, and once you're here, tracking your information won't be as difficult.

I think traineo has all of the tools we need to successfully progress towards our lifestyle goals, it's just a matter of using them effectively.

Good luck and welcome!

I usually do my logs every morning, for the previous day. It's part of my morning breakfast-email-news routine. I find that much easier than remembering to do it at the end of the day.
