Hi! I'm not really new around here but only now I got to introduce myself.

I've always been overweight, or even obese. In the last 10-12 years I've experienced the yo-yo effect, successfully reaching my goal weight two times, first with Herbalife and the other with the help of a nutritionist. But once I stop having a plan to follow I stop weighing myself and start slowly finding the kgs I've lost.

Not anymore! The third time's the charm! Right now I'm 25, 1,74m and 103kg, and already lost 10kg (since Sept/06). I'm not following any specific plan, I think I know by now what to do.

I have joined a gym, where I go 3 times per week (I've just started taking kick-boxing lessons), plus I play football with my friends for 2 hours every Saturday. I've also eliminated sweets and fried food from my diet as much as possible. For now, even without a strict portion control, this keeps me going.

I plan on settling somewhere between 70-75 kg. I'll decide when I get there, based on how I feel. I don't have a fixed deadline, but I would like to achieve the goal this year. But even if that doesn't happen, I will do it! And this time I will keep it off for good!

Hman! Welcome to the Forums and best of luck with your goals. I am sure if you keep your goals in mind as you are working out and picking your foods that you will reach them.

Hey HMan - That's awesome, you sound like you are doing well. I see this post was in January - it's now 4 months later, how are you getting on? I'm just about to start Herbalife again to get all my excess weight off and then once I reach my goal weight of 75kg I'm going to move on to trying eating healthy. I've always loved the food that's bad for you, so the hard part for me will be keeping the weight off once I've lost it.

Take care,

Ianthe.
