Hello Traineo Community!
I could stand to lose 20-25 pounds, and I'm trying day by day. I know I'll never be tall and skinny, but I can be short and slender :0)
I feel as though every time I get really into a workout regimen, within two weeks, I'm sick again (cold, allergies) and take a few days off and struggle to get back into a routine.
If I only lost 10 more pounds, I'd be happy with that, but with losing 20 I'd be as thin as what my BMI would want me at.
Anyhow... here is me. Thanks for letting me post
Blessings to you all,
Tricia

I am 29 years old and have grown passionate about fitness and health! Overall, I have lost and kept off a little over 40 pounds, and I have about 20 or so more that I would like to take off. This last year has been tough and distracting in many ways, and I am back to work now! I am revisiting Traineo, because this site and the people here were instrumental in helping me lose my original 40 pounds so I am back! I regret that because of time constraints I won't be able to be AS active in the forums as I used to, but I will certainly try to stay in there and reconnect with old friend as well as make new ones.
My fitness goals remain the same as before as I haven't achieved them yet: *GOAL 1 = 140 lbs Target Date = 7/31/08 Date Met = TBD CURRENT FITNESS GOALS: Run a 5K, improve flexibility enough to do the splits, be able to do 50 pushups in a row, be able to do a pull-up, learn to do a hand stand and then hand stand pushups. :)

Tricia,
Welcome to Traineo! I know that I have found this site to be a great motivator to me on days when I didn't want to stick to my routine... the people on here are all dealing with the same issues, obstacles and goals, so we are all here to help each other.
Let us know how we can motivate you.

Hey Tricia! Welcome! I'm also new to Traineo and am in search for motivators. Maybe we can help to motivate eachother?

Hi Tricia! Hi Ashley! Welcome.
I'm still getting my bearings on Traineo, but I'd be glad to give motivation a shot. You can add as many motivators as you want now too.
If you're looking to shed a few pounds, I highly recommend reading through CausticMuse's diary. I can't link directly to her specific post, but some time back she reviewed over two years' worth of diets and fitness programs that she's been on and as you can see she's gotten excellent results.

I was gone for awhile, but I'm back and ready to lose the 20 pounds I managed to gain back while I was away. Stupid stressful job. Stupid comfort food.
I'm looking to lose 10 of the 20 by the time I go on my much delayed honeymoon. (June 7th, 2008)
Some background... January 16th, 2006=188 pounds. January 16th, 2007=162 pounds. January 16th, 2008=156 pounds.
