Hi all,

traineo has over 10,000 members, a good proportion of whom are actively logging and using the site - as a result of this, we've accumulated rather a lot of data.

We thought it'd be interesting and fun to give you all a better idea of whats going on in the background, and what's going on around the site. Obviously, we decided not to go down the path that certain other websites recently have of turning 'Big Brother' and exhibiting your every move, so instead we're showing some interesting, yet general, stats.

So, without further ado, here's the link:

http://www.traineo.com/pulse

This has replaced the first page you see when you go the members page, because, as interesting as people whose surnames started with A were, they just weren't interesting enough (sorry guys!).

We've also updated the homepage a little to include some of these stats (http://www.traineo.com).

In our (humble) opinion, the 'Did you know?' box is possibly the best part of the page - Dd you know that 9080 is the total daily calorie intake by female traineo members from Russia in the last two weeks. That's as much as 11.69 miles driven in an Austin 'Mini'.

Cheers, and hope you enjoy the new feature - any thoughts, post 'em here!

Maxwell

AWESOME!

I love the aggregation of data. Yeah I am geek, but so are a lot of my fellow Traineo members.

Glad people like it - we did it as a bit of a breather from the 'real work' of putting the diet interface together.

By the by, if anyone comes up with anything else they'd like to see in the comparisons, do let me know, and I'll work them in (if (moderately) sensible!!!).
