Hi all,

We've done a quick back-end overhaul of the daily diet score system.

All we've done is we've now made it so that if you enter a custom calorie goal, it's remembered on a day-to-day basis, so your historic data/slider positions are no longer a mess (although your historic ones up until now are, sorry ). Going forwards things will work better, and you'll have more flexibility and freedom with your goal and score. If you want to fix up your historic data you're welcome to do so - the calorie scores & diet scores which are shown in your graph are dead on accurate, however the position of the slider and the goal shown on your diet page are currently off (this is what we've fixed, but only going forwards from now).

Sorry if that's a bit of a pretzel - I'm not having a terribly good explaining day.

Also, a quick note on the nature of the diet scores (taken from my reply on another thread).

The idea of the suggested intake is that it's your goal - it's what you should be aiming for - and setting it yourself is just like setting a custom target to aim at.

We've actually just rolled out an update that changes the behaviour of the custom target slightly - it now remembers what your target was every day, so there's no more screwy scales going on, and it all makes more sense as a whole.

The goal which is set for you by default is based upon your weight, your height and your weight loss/gain goal - overeating is penalised, whereas undereating is not, but offers no additional score gain (we can't really endorse/reward undereating, for obvious reasons).

I hope the update helps alleviate the issues some people were experiencing, and helps make things a little more clear going forwards.

Thanks,

Maxwell
