I always tell people that I'm a Pro Bass fisherman that has to work as and I.S. Analyst for a living because I suck at fishing! Anyways, after 2 knee surgeries, excess weight was causing pain in my knee... Especially after standing in the boat for 8 hours. As the weight came off, the pain in my knee was reduced to a minimal ache. Now I'm in a weight maintenance mode...

I decided to create a Google Gadget that includes the personalized traineo buttons as an "In your face" reminder for myself, everytime I browse the web. If you would like to do the same, just add the following gadget (by url) to your Google Homepage:
http://www.ccdsweb.org/mitch/mytraineobuttons.xml
Once the gadget is visible, You will need to add your name and traineo id in order for the buttons to display properly.
Enjoy...

About me: --------------------------- I'm an architecture student at a great school.
After trial and error, managed to shed the pounds for real.
What I'm doing: --------------------------- Portion control still a problem. HIIT 2x/week Starting weights 1x/week
I take stairs over escalator and elevator ALL THE TIME (I climb 6 sets of stairs minimum for the day at the metro 2-3floors?).
Extra note: --------------------------- I finally understand what being fit means! And I actually love running now thanks to HIIT.
Goal: lose the belly fat! My problem area. First goal: 120lbs - MET 2nd goal: 116lbs - MET 3rd goal: 112lbs ish with more muscle definition
Realizing I can't change the way my body stores fat and have a noticeable belly during the day (pic was morning with light breakfast after workout) I will work on making a stronger core to counter the pooch a bit
Dropped 1 pant size since last year (stable weight) Dropped 2 pant sizes since mid-Summer after Greece (pastries=weight gain)

First you will need to create yourself a Google homepage. If you go to Google, click the "Personalized Home" link at the top of the page. Follow the instructions from there to create your personalized homepage. Once you have your page created, click "Add Stuff". Then click "Add By URL". Then paste in the URL I provided above. Add it, type in your info, and your on your way...
PS... I just found one little glitch that I need to correct. If you click on the Traineo buttons once they are on your Google page, the Traineo website loads within the gadget container, rather than redirecting the page to Traineo. I'll fix that tonight when I get home from work...

Just noting here that the traineo buttons will show up with --- for a weight/weight lost if you do not have "Allow non-members to see my page?" turned on in your traineo privacy preferences.

Just a quick update... I fixed the linking issue. When you click the Traineo button, you should now be redirected to traineo.com.
Later,
Mitch

According to my Intuitive Eating book, I am a professional dieter. I'm working to let go of all the rules that the diet world has offered me and let my body be my guide. I lost two pounds the first week, which is the most I have lost in the last year doing regular diets. (Unfortunately vacation added those two pounds back and they each brought a friend.)
I have said goodbye to all the other diet sites, but y geeky side still needs to track my workouts and weight changes, so here I am.

Wow, that's great! Thanks
I'm trying to stop using the Yahoo Widget for skinnyr.com (which led me to traineo).
It'd be great if I could enter my weight with this as a dektop Google Gadget, then I wouldn't have to go to a webpage just to update my weight.
