STEP ONE: What are your goals?
The first step in personal change and growth of any kind is to get a clear picture of your goals.
The way I most like to do this is to create a collage for myself. I get out old magazine of all kinds and page through them looking for words that inspire me or that articulate the goals I have.
Don't be shy! Your goals collage is for your eyes only. Once you have a beautiful colorful collage filled with inspiring words and pictures you have to find a place to put it so it can work its magic. Oh and most importantly....put a picture of yourself at the center of the collage. That is how you and the universe knows it's all for you and about you. Surround yourself with all that wonderful energy, phrases, images. Working our and losing weight is hard and you'll need this positive mandala/yantra to help you stay focused.
Put your collage somewhere that you will see it every day. That may be in a meditation space, on the fridge, or as what you see when you are on the elliptical trying to push up that final hill.
Trust me these work! I created a collage for myself when i started feeling burnt out at work....it had phrases like "your next new career!" and you know what....i didn't see it coming but after looking at that collage for a month CROW was born!
So have fun! Have at it and be kind to yourself- be more than kind be generous! Dream and imagine.
