The BMI calculator and my own are off. I clock in around 14% with multipinch and 16% on a tanita scale. Your calculator which is generalizing the formula is putting me around 18%. Have you thought about unlocking the box for those that can judge their own bmi?

BMI means Body Mass Index. It's not body fat %, although they relate somewhat.

BMI is weight divided by height squared. For me that would make 85 kg / (1.82m * 1.82m) = 26.

Juho is correct - BMI is Body Mass Index, and the formula we use is correct.

We are going to include a body fat %age measurement, which will be estimated and manually adjustable, in the near future (next 5-10 days hopefully).
