When I started this journey in March 2005 I weighed around 400 lbs. The thing that jarred me into motion was a picture my wife had taken on Christmas morning 2004. I was sitting in a low armchair wearing my usual outfit: sweats and a t-shirt. It went from belly to legs to feet -- no knees!! I said, "oh hell no." I got myself a gym membership and started out swimming every morning. That progressed to the treadmill and finally to where I am today which is riding a bike 7-10 miles at a clip and playing DDR at the local bowling alley a few days a week. It feels so good I think I'm going to keep going. ;)	# Posted: 21 Aug 2006 23:59 Good point. Signatures are handy -- hate re-typing all that stuff. =)
