So I apparently mistyped my weight, but put my goal correctly. I put my weight as 160 and my goal as 190. I ACTUALLY weigh 260, but for some reason just wrote 1 instead of 2. Now I change that, and that works fine. But now it updates my goal to 390 for some reason, and when I change it to 190 as it should have been, it complains "Goal weight is smaller than current."
Call me crazy.. but WHY would that be a problem? If anything it should have told me that a goal weight higher than my current weight doesn't make sense earlier. So why can't I change my goal weight? Is it with that accident that it logs me as a person wanting to gain weight, than one wanting to loose it?
(and yeah, I know it is a lofty goal, but a goal I want to eventually hit. The technical problem still remains though)

I have the same problem. Now I want to lose weight and track it since I got fatter than I wanted, but when I set a goal to a smaller number, it says the goal weight is smaller than current.
How can I track a lose weight diet ?

Go into the about me tab and on the left of where your picture would be there are a few settings you can change, the first one is name and start weight

I know of that command and that is not what is necessary.
I entered my start weight incorrectly (160), making my goal weight (190) higher, more than likely flagging my account as one who wants to gain weight.
However since I actually weigh 260, when I used the "name and start weight" to change it, and try to set my goal to 190, it complains about it being "smaller than current weight."
More than likely it is a flagging problem, but why these flags exist, I don't know. If they always want a positive number in the "I have XX pounds to go" pictures, all they have to do is abs(weight - goal_weight) where abs is the absolute value function.
If nobody knows how to fix this (or if there just isn't a way for users to fix it) how do we contact the admin(s) to fix it?

Hi there,
C G - I narrowly missed you on meebo. You can reset your goal direction by meeting your goal - start by setting your weight to 200 (anything over 190 will do), and it'll read 'goal met'. You can then set your goal to the correct value, and then your weight.
Hope that helps!
Thanks,
Maxwell

That worked perfectly Max, thank you so much . Now it is going the right direction, so that should be good.
Thanks again.

Thanks Sam, I was just having a similar problem and this fixed it. I joined yesterday and have lost 2 pounds (for whatever reason), but this month I've lost 9 pounds and wanted to reflect that on my logs So I listed the weight on a date that I know I was 299 and changed my start weight.
This is definitely a helpful thread!

This is absolutely frustrating. I have no idea why I can't reset my "Starting Weight" properly. I'm having this same problem and can't figure out how to fix it.
I'm just worried that if I can't have the most important data work correctly this site loses it's purpose.
Is there no way to just reset it like it should work?

I began my health and wellness goals after being told by my doctor I was pre-diabetic and borderline high blood pressure. After a scuba diving trip that did not go well (due to my poor health), I decided to try and she the extra pounds. It was important to me to find a helathy, well-balanced program that would not only give me a jump start, but also allow me to learn how to make a lifestyle change to better health and wellness.
About 30 days ago, I found out about Isagenix through a co-worker. In the past 30 days, I have released 20 pounds and lost 4 inches in my waist, going from a size 12 to a size 6!! My goal is for another 10 pounds, which I would like to shed by December 31st.
Along with 4 other coworkers, we have had great success in losing our weight. Getting through the holidays and working toward our goals is ahead. Once we do that, we then plan on implementing what we have learned to maintain our new found health and wellness. Isagenix has been a life changer for myself, my coworkers and my partner.

I too had trouble, as I also mis-typed my starting weight. Let us know if you get an answer!

This is under General > Website Support.
Nobody has addressed this issue yet and I'm tempted to just stop using the site. I've managed to get my Goal weight and Starting weight correct somehow but now instead of displaying the number of pounds to go it just says "goal met, start another goal"
