A few years back, I had a wake up call when the scale read 260 lbs. I started my own exercise routine on the treadmill, bike trainer, and weights. All was going well when I hit a plateau at 215. I couldn't seem to break through, but maintained until a shoulder injury caused me to stop the weights. You know, it is a lot easier to stop training than it is to start. I slowly started putting the weight back on. This time when I hit 240, I knew I had to do something about it before it got out of control again.
My goal is to climb the Seeley Fire Tower hill in the 2007 Chequamegon Fat 40 without having to resort to walking.
