Time-to-Start has begun
My name is Cathy. I'm 50 years old. Follow my story on my blog http://time2start.wordpress.com/ Reckon if I "go public" that will spur me on!? I'm a married, vegetarian animal-lover who is fairly new to train(eo)ing!
PS Have set an interim weight-loss goal as I'm not sure what my ultimate goal will be.

Quoting: rach_1623 Since the Traineo admins haven't done anything at all in a very long time even when there was serious complaining, I'm guessing that no one is monitoring this site any more. I wouldn't expect any results ever. My guess is that eventually this site is going to have so many unresolved bugs that it won't be usable and we'll all have to abandon ship. Hopefully that day is still a while off.
Goodness - as bad as that?!

I guess I'm a bit more negative about the maintenance of the site than the average person here because a couple of my friends tried this place out and left because their account locked them out and no one ever fixed it. One made a 2nd account and got locked out of it too. Both she and I sent many emails and I sent messages, but no one ever even responded. Still haven't as far as I know.

I used to be reasonably fit and slim when I was in college, but have been gaining weight steadily ever since I got married.
I do next to no exercise apart from playing occasional ping pong with my co-workers.
But this is all going to change!! My goal is to train, train and train and get back to my true old self (i.e, ~175lbs).

Oh man, I hope that day will never come...it would be a shame.

Well rats. Here I just stumbled across the site, and find out that it's not monitored/supported anymore! That sucks. How unfortunate...

Hi, just looking at peoples comments their accounts were "locked out" - I have noticed the username is case sensitive when you log in. So if you created one that just happened to have upper case letters, then didn't remember where they were the next time you tried to log in, you'd get blocked. And not know the reason why. Just thought I'd mention that. Maybe some people can reuse their old accounts by logging in that way.

Yay for the fixing of this. I think I've changed mine 3 times since noticing it. Perhaps I'll change it again, maybe to a blank white square...
Seriously, good job.

I work in the automotive field as a project manager. Sitting on my butt all day makes it get too big. I started traineo around Nov 1, 2006 at 205 lbs and have lost over 25 pounds! I want to be 169 lbs or below since that is a BMI below 25, although I don't know if my body will do that - I've always been a little "top heavy"
You can see though when you look over a year of weight data that I've hit a plateau of around 180-185 pounds. It's still keeping off the original 20-25 pounds but I would like to do more. I know I feel lighter and more agile at 175 pounds, so 169 pounds would be really lean for my build.

Personal statement? What statement? Need to eat healthy, exercise, learn all about being fit and do it. I am getting there. Fun road! Nevermind all that. I am now pregnant for the 3rd time and feel like eating my way through the planet.
