Hope you get an answer soon! I'm using some version of Firefox 2... and need to update. But still no troubles logging out and logging back in.

Reply by Stitch K (temporary account)

Well I have downloaded opera, no difference.

I've come to the conclusion that.... after you send the password request for one of your accounts, it has already changed the password. Which is why you cannot access it aftewards - and it doesnt send it out to your account. I was looking through the script to try and find the form because it seems faulty, havent found the problem yet.

However, this does not change the situation, I didnt ask for a password retrieval on my first account in...

Reply by edenna Doe

I had the same problem. this is the second account i've created. so now i have two accounts on this site. which sucks! so i emailed them multiple times and i still haven't heard anything back from the traineo people.

i put in my email and they never sent my password to me. how long do you think it'll take, because i really want to delete the first account that i can't access!!!...

Reply by Itadaki Mouse

I access Traineo from IE6, IE7, Firefox 3.0, and Safari regularly. All of them are configured to delete the browser cache on exit (some are public machines). I have not had the issue either.

Have you tried accessing from another machine?

Also, have you checked to make sure the browser detects the correct Character Encoding for the page? It should be UTF-8. A switch might garble passwords -- grabbing at straws here. If you're on Windows, IME might switch input encoding too.

I'm using Firefox.

You might want to clear your cache and all cookies and see if that helps any. Because as I stated it's not just my browser, it's everyone's. I did ask my friend to try and same thing happened to him, as did a few other traineo members.

I am using Internet Explorer, and I also tried it on firefox without remembering passwords.... - no luck...

Reply by Cynthia P

All I can say is that I always log out of my account and have not had a bit of trouble logging back in again.

I don't let my browser remember passwords though. That's what the gray matter is for, LOL!

Reply by sianlee b

what do you mean? why would a person need to add the same details as my account when I guess it's happening to everyone?

I am a webdesigner, and I'd say traineo was fixing a few things perhaps and something has happened to the login process section of the website with regards to remembering the right passwords. it's as if it gets deleted off their database right away. You can login when you create a new account, but when you sign out you cant get back in. I just read the other thread. I think the "testy" person was just trying to set up an account with your details to "test" the problems you stated.

Reply by sianlee b

For those of you who don't know something strange is going on. I tried logging into traineo after a few days of not being on, and it said my password was invalid. I tried again and again, still wouldnt work. Funniest thing is because the computer remembers my password so it CAN'T be wrong.

I sent a request to send it to my email address but I didn't get it. I checked my junk mail and normal mail, nothing. I tried Caps lock and all - trust me I tried. Nothing.
