I'm trying to update my goal weight, but i keep getting an 'error' of some sort saying.. and i quote:

"Your goal weight is smaller than your current weight"

Isnt that the whole idea?

Hi Michael,

Sounds like you've got it set into 'weight gain' mode - if you try increasing your weight until it says 'goal met', and then setting up another goal in 'about me', you should be fine.

Yep, you're in weight gain mode - register your weight as 230 or so, and then go back to what you actually are, and then change your goal in about me. Sorry for the confusion!
