I could not find anything related to pushups in workout, is there some obscure term, or there isn't at all?

I am always out doing something fun. I play Hockey, Racquetball and Paintball to keep me busy. I have been spending a good amount of time at the gym. I hope to keep on doing what I do and reach my goal!

Pedro, I use "weight training" for push ups, sit ups/crunches, etc.

"The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds." - Henry Rollins

I use the calisthenics option for things like that. Since pushups are using your bodyweight, not weights.

After struggling with my weight for all of my life, I finally was able to get from 120kg down to around 105kg and kept it there. This took alot of hard work. The time has come to put in another big effort to get myself down to 95kg, a weight I haven't seen since high school.
One of my problems is that I love lifting weights. This will burn calories but it will also add weight. Bummer.

Hey Pedro,
If you go to bodybuilding.com and search in the supersite for articles containing "pushup," you'll find heaps.
What are you looking to achieve with pushups?

I guess I have been using the wrong term... I looked it up after reading this post, and calisthenics includes, push ups, sit ups/crunches, etc.
Yup, calisthenics wins.

Pedro, as long as you know what it means in your log you can use whatever term you like. I suppose it might throw off the caloric measuring a bit.
My "calisthenic" workouts include push ups, sit ups, ab/core routine with a ball, some light weight work and the occasional jump squat.
