Hi everyone. I'm so happy to be here and sharing this experience with all of you. I really have a total of 80 pounds to loose, but I decided to set a 50 pound goal to reach in 8 months first. I want to break that down into smaller monthly goals of 1.5 pounds a week. I can do it.
My method is going to be this: 1. Follow the Weight Watchers food program. 2. Attend one WW meeting a week. 3. Do a minimum of 30 minutes of of aerobic exercise 5 days a week. 4. Attend 3 yoga classes a week. 5. Journal everyday. 6. Check in here daily.
So the journey begins and I am grateful to be on it with all of you. Please drop me a note, your encouragement is appreciated. Also, I'd be happy to be a motivator to anyone else that I can be of service to.
With deepest thanks, Darcy

My reports haven't been being sent to my motivators for 3 weeks now. As far as I know, I haven't changed anything. Has anyone else had this problem or know what I need to do to get them strted being sent again?

I have started two new blogs, one to follow my running and a Quest to a Marathon at blog.262quest.com and one to follow my weight loss at blog.2big.org, please check them out.
I am an IT professional / Developer which means I sit in front of a computer most of the day. This means very little exercise and plenty of time to eat.
I decided at the first of the year that I was going to lose weight. I started by changing my eating habits and started walking.
I did so for about a month and then added some weight lifting and started to run a little bit.
I have so far lost 29 lbs in just over 3 months and would like to lose just over another 50 lbs by the end of the year.
I have started running quite a bit more and am training to run the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta on July 4th (10k)
I need all the encouragement I can get because to do this I am getting up every morning during the week at 4:30 to go running. With a wife and kids this is really the only time that I can consistently do what I need to do.
I am driven, but at times get a bit discouraged because I don't have anybody to work out with or run with.
All in All, I know I can do it, I just have to remember that when I don't do so well, it is in the past and what matters is going forward.

I have been a member for about that long and I have never seen them sent. I also have been a motivator for a couple weeks and have never gotten any reports.
Hey - 3 weeks - 3 weeks - maybe I have caused the problem in the system

I'm 36, married, no kids. Now that I've reached my goal weight, I am concentrating on getting BF below 25%. Working with a trainer I have lost more than 50 lbs since Nov 2006. Hunger is my friend! :)

Yeah, mine haven't been sent, I thought it was a cool feature and was sorry it was gone.

Same here, 3 weeks now. No report to me or any of my motivators. I have requested support about a week ago, no reply. Just sent another request. (Sending it through the comments/contact us screen and its really not clear if that is the place to get technical support, but they provide no other avenue.)
Traineo's stock is rapidly dropping! I now have a handful of motivators giving me an earful that I stopped using the service and told them I couldn't really discontinue the reports without them knowing. Ugh.

as far as I know my motivators should have received reports yesterday but I think they didn't
the comment in my profile I chose for being sent with the report hasn't changed - shouldn't it say something like
"Sent to motivators on 18th May '07" ?
at least thats what I see on other peoples profiles...

Another week has gone by with no reports sent. That makes 4 weeks now. I didn't realize how much I counted on the support of my family & friends! I sure hope this problem gets fixed!!!
Tim, it's odd that you were getting multiples sent out when the rest of us aren't getting any!!!

Alasdair, what's the story here? I love Traineo, but I'm losing faith... (I think my motivators already have, they think I somehow unsubcribed them after telling them that I couldn't really stop it, short of deleting my account, once it got going.)
Can you fix the problem? And also give us an explanation of what is wrong?
Thanks.

I have always been slightly overweight, but last year I gained over 50 pounds. My doctor discovered that my thyroid was really underactive and has been working to correct it over the past six months. My thyroid is almost back to normal, but my body is not. I will have to work at lot harder to take this weight off than I did putting it on. My goal is to become a runner.

I just joined two weeks ago when I read about the site in a Women's Health magazine. The magazine suggested this site because of the weekly emails to motivators. I thought is was a great idea so I joined up. So far, none of my motivators have recieved a report, and after reading this thread, I am assuming this is happening to everyone. Does anyone know if it will be fixed soon?

I'm happy to report that my reports have been being sent to my motivators for the last 2 weeks. Everyone was so wonderful about responding to them. It really is a fabulous feature of Traineo. I hope they correct the situation for everyone!

Any help on the reports not being received issue? It seems there are more users than you may realize (or they may realize) having this issue... I discovered two more colleagues today that checked with their motivators and they just thought they stopped using the service...
Thanks.

I didn't get the progress report this week but it seems as though about half of my 10 or so motivators received the report, the other half got nothing...
The most surprising thing is that I still haven't heard back from my multiple support requests and they haven't replied to anything on this forum, previous to this problem their support was quite attentive.
I am actually looking for a new service that does the same thing as Traineo, lt me know if you find anything...

I have prioritized my job and grad school before my health and my mind and body took a beating as a result. I am coming upon an age milestone and want to reclaim my health and fitness! Mens sana in corpore sano!
****************************
Now starting a my second goal and last 10 ponds. These are a bear! I have a surfing vacation coming up so I have to vary my workouts for core strength, swimming endurance, and upper body conditioning. I think wearing a bathing suit and not wanting to drown will be serious motivation!
****************************
Part III: I had some diet fatigue over the holidays. That and the flu helped me to add some weight over the season.
Now, I'm getting back into it and commiting "40 days" until Easter to stay focused on my goals. My friends have given up candy and other things for Lent so I'm looking at it as making it easier to stay on track.
************************** For the summer, I've changed my goals. I have been healthy (with times of diet fatigue) but I have been mostly in a maintenance mode.
Now, I have a new commitment to drop some more weight to be squarely within the "normal" BMI category. I am committed and can do it by the end of the year!

Hi all,
I had stopped getting motivator reports for a few weeks and now they have started up again, but the reports state that I haven't logged any activities since June 9th. Is there a way to update that?
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you!

My motivators said that their initial emails went to their junk mail - Maybe let your motivators know something's being sent so they check?

All emails don't seem to be coming through. My mate reset his password, and the email never got sent with the new password so he can't log in anymore.
Anyone know if this is being fixed?

I was gone for awhile, but I'm back and ready to lose the 20 pounds I managed to gain back while I was away. Stupid stressful job. Stupid comfort food.
I'm looking to lose 10 of the 20 by the time I go on my much delayed honeymoon. (June 7th, 2008)
Some background... January 16th, 2006=188 pounds. January 16th, 2007=162 pounds. January 16th, 2008=156 pounds.

I went from getting 3 a day to getting zero in 3 months. I haven't accepted any new motivatees recently because of this.
