Does anyone take off from the gym on weekends? I seem to like doing Monday through Thursday but never really want to go Fri, Sat, or Sundays.

I could probably get better workouts on those days. I may have to switch things around.

I go on Saturday morning when the gym opens so I have it out of the way and get back in time to be with hubby and the kids. Though, if you go four days during a week, maybe you can just add one more day so that you don't have too big of a break in between.

Friday is a great day for me to work out because I work (like at my job ) Mon to Thurs 9 hours then Fri I work 4 so I still work 40 hours but I get off on Fri at 11. Then I have the whole rest of the day to do stuff for me since hubby is still at work. But Sat is harder because I like to sleep super duper late then I want to just chill with hub. I usually get myself motivated for a work out anyways. Then Sun is the day off.

I go Wednesday and then Saturday and Sunday mornings. I run the other days.

When XC starts I'm probably going to change my Wednesday workout to Tuesday and Thursday, but just do weights. To counteract the muscle loss that I'm sure will come from long distance running, anyway.

I go Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All three days are awesome to go because it's easy to grab any machine you want. Even the free weights are no problem. Monday is my day off, which is perfect because it tends to be the busiest day I think.

Seriously, it's ridiculous.

I typically only take Sundays off, M-F are easy since I'm already at work and Saturdays are nice because it tends to be low key and slow at the gym so I can do whatever the hell I want. It is important to schedule rest into your routine though, so taking off weekends is probably fine, assuming your M-Th workouts are hard enough that your body needs rest.

If you really want, you can do other active things on the weekends like going for a run outside or tennis or something.
