People tell me that its not hot in VA, but, um... yes it is! I also invested in a couple of good workout videos. Or, do you have Netflix? When I had netflix, I would get a different DVD every week, and that was a lot of fun for a change up. Or, do you get FitTv in your area? Gilead's Bodies in Motion is fantastic, and so is Shimmy, the bellydancing show. Oh! And I know this sounds so 'old', but go mall walking! Or, everytime you have to go to the grocery store, or WalMart or whatever, do a lap around the store before you even start shopping. Its an easy way to add some movement to your day.

University of Aberdeen, Scotland study published in Medicine and Science in Sport and Exercise in 1997: Men rode stationary bicycles in 70-degree F, 52-degree F and 39-degree F conditions, dressed only in shorts, socks and shoes. The result? After 75-minutes, energy expenditure was almost 30 percent greater at the lowest temperature compared to the highest.

That really sucks because it feels way harder when it's hot - so not only does it feel harder but it's not as good calorie-burning wise either! Booo....

Luckily in Ireland it only gets hot... oh wait, it doesn't EVER get hot here
