Hi guys

Remember how I couldnt get into my old account? Because hotmail does not accept the emails for lost passwords?

Well turns out I recieved something in my email regarding (this account, my old one) and It could have been a progress report..... At the bottom it said "to stop receieving these emails click here" so I clicked here... the url pointed to "magic login" and it logged into my old account for me! I changed my password so something I am sure I know, and now hopefully I will be able to log into my account again next time,

Unfrotunatly hotmail still hasnt gotten back to me about the issue after 3 or so months. And the staff at traineo has not gotten back to me either.

But i'm happy this happened, otherwise I would have had to stick with my old account.

For some reason I cannot change my name on this account, its all greyed out. I wonder why?

I can't change my name any more either! So it's not just you... I used to be able to until a couple of weeks ago though, don't know why that changed!

I think that one can only change an account name so many times, then no more.

Oh great... that is really stupid. They should let you know if you can only change it so many times.

In addition to the weekly motivator report (which is opt in/out) I get notifications whenever someone messages me or comments on my profile (which seems to be set -- I can't turn it off).

So if anyone gets locked out you'd just have to have someone comment on your profile to get a magic logon email? Tricksy!

well, I didnt get the thing where people comment in my account and I get a message. I didnt request to get one of them. But it would work. Anything which gives you a link to basicly log into your account will have it. It doesnt ask you to login, because it knows this is YOUR email address so it doesnt need to ask you
