Oh Lilly I think I love you

hehe...shhh...that was supposed to be secret! j/k!

Can't help it, I love Star Trek - Now I'd be amazed if anyone else knew the lyrics to "USS Make Shit Up" let alone who sings it...here's the chorus for your amusement:

And I say
Bounce a graviton particle beam off the main deflector dish
Thats the way we do things lad, we're making shit up as we wish
The Klingons and the Romulans pose no threat to us
'Cause if we find we're in a bind we just make some shit up

hee hee

Ok, here's my trivia: Give me the name of the one woman who has been a part of just about every Star Trek series...

bonus pts if you can name some of her characters

My first guess (and I'm assuming you mean an actress?) is Majell Barrett-Roddenberry - Everything from Nurse Christine Chapel in TOS to Lwaxanna Troi in the three 24th century series, to the voice of the computer in about a gazillion episodes...

or is it someone else you're thinking about?

I couldn't remember her name -- I just knew Roddenberry's wife...

Well, let's just say that I'm SO much of a trekkie that I refuse the title "trekkie" - the correct term is "trekker" lol

Oh, and while we're in traineo I have a secret for y'all...

My biggest disappointment with losing weight is that I can no longer fit into my ST uniform

Well, I gave it some time, but it looks as though no one else is gonna answer...sooo...

Dax had 7 hosts before Jadzia - I can only remember two names (sorry!) Lela (first host) & Joran (last, prior to Jadzia).

oooh, who's in love NOW? haha...now, did ya have to look it up, or are you familiar w/the insanity that is Voltaire? (I know I will have to wait for the answer...heh)

Um...I really can't think of another question right now, aside from movie quotes Anyone wanna post another trivia question??

Hmmm, I'm gonna say an extra 32 in the infant. And the smallest bone is in the inner ear?

I believe there are 300 bones in a infant and about 206 in an adult. So that makes 94 extra.

Going to have to go w/ Esperanto here, but not sure if that's technically considered an artificial language... 2nd guess is ASL...

which originated in Warsaw, btw, so mad props to my Polish ancestors

since binary was mentioned... what is 2's complement and how is it used?

@Edit: by "how is it used" I mean "how is it computed/determined", and if this is too hard, let me know - don't know if anyone out there had this drilled into them as much as I did...
