yes, it was cameron crowe. you can ask another question if you want, but he followed a specific rock band that is quite well known. they're even referenced several times in the film.

it was either allman bros or LZ... I didn't actually see the whole film, only parts, so I'm going off of random info in me head.

If that is correct, I must ask; what is the oldest continuously run newspaper in the US?

I guess this one is somewhat topical.... It's actually the Hartford Courant (people often leave copies in the bathroom at work, I learned this little tid bit last week)...

Approximately what percent of men snore in the U.S.? (or women - either number will do).

Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
This famous monument was erected in Bodium, Turkey, by Queen Artemisia in memory of her husband, King Mausolus of Caria in Asia Minor, who died in 353 B.C. Some remains of the structure are in the British Museum. This shrine is the source of the modern word “mausoleum,” which is a large above-ground tomb.

apart from this and the pyramids, every thing else was detroyed...

The Hanging Gardens
The Pyramids
The Colossus
The Temple of Artemis
The Statue of Zeus
The Lighthouse (of somewhere)
A mausoleum--of someone.

Heh. A little light on the details, but I think that's all of them.

Oh and I thought the pyramids were the only ones standing--is the mausoleum still around?

Also I read that they think the Hanging Gardens may never have existed (there's no first hand account of them--just second hand.)

coinsiding with allison's answer:
of babylon
of giza
of sardia
...
...
of alexandria
of halicarnassus

the pyramids are the only ones standing. there are some pretty good defenses regarding the hanging gardens of babylon.

somebody ask something.

Paris! (As I learned when I was there last year...)

Who is the month of August named after?

Mecca is the name of the city the Muslims go to, and I'm going to make that my guess.
