Ok so I am little concerned as to what is going on with me. The past few days I have been RAVENOUS! Nothing I eat will satisfy me!

For the past few weeks I haven't been eating a whole lot just.... because? I don't know lol. I also have been exercising a whole lot more.
So I am wondering if this insane constant appetite could be because my body is needing more food/fuel? I have no idea.... all I know is it doesnt matter what I eat... my stomach almost feels empty an hour later!

I have the same problem before. No matter how much I eat, I still feel like to grab some snack.

Lately, I have started trying to change the way I eat recommended by my nutritionist. That is to incorporate protein every time I eat carbs, and eat smaller meal more often. For example, if I eat an apple, I must eat an egg or a piece of ham. If I eat a salad, I must eat the one with some meal.

That seems help. I don't have the urge to try/think of snacking all the time.

This is exactly the same with me! But I think its also because I'd been functioning on a calorie deficit for so long, and even though I'm eating a lot I seem to be a whole lot happier. If the quality of your food is good (protein-fiber-nutrient rich) don't beat yourself up about it too much. If your hungry your body is sending you signals to eat more. Maybe readjust your daily calorie allowance so that you lose a bit more gradually so as to not shock your body.

Also, eat bigger at the start of the day. I find if I only eat like..900 calories between breakfast, snack and dinner, and I get home at 6 (ready to make dinner) I eat like a beast, even with the best intentions.

I think we all need a bit more will power is all. And drink lots of water too. Its really important. So after you've eaten drink a pint or so, this will feel bloating but it will put you off reaching for more.

Also, you feel a hell of a lot worse if after you've supposedly 'blown the diet' to go for a jog or get on the step-machine. That way, the damage won't be as bad. In fact, it'll probably help your metabolism. xxxxx

Water for me (most days I aim for 3L - but never less than 2L), plays a massive part in keeping me satiated and nibbling on protein type snacks....like nuts, small tins of tuna in springwater, a poached egg on a slice of rye bread and spinach (mmmmm)...I keep cut up veg/fruit on a platter and if i get the urge to pick or grab something, well it is there, ready...I think mine is more of a habit to be constantly crunching something haha....

Well I was always starving in the morning until I added 3 egg whites to it. Now I'm full until lunch.

you need to think are you really hungry b/c you arent eating enough, not getting in enough calories? is it emotional? is it the time of the month? are you craving somehing? if you added more exercise you might need more calories. dont forget if you are "dieting" you are supposed to feel hungry but there are ways to help minimize it like others said. drink water, eat small frequent meals, add protein etc.
