So I have started adding jogging into my routine and well... lets just say a regular bra isn't enough support.

Does anyone know of a good place, bra, website, etc that sells sports bras for women who are... let's just say past what most stores have to offer?

Thanks!

Target???? I bought my first 'off the shelf' bra from there, it is a sports bra, and I am so excited I could buy a regular size...first time in 10 yrs lol!

I actually got mine from target, but im from Australia. I know what you mean about having a regular bra and not a sports bra. But as soon as I got my sports bra its totally awesome, you dont even realise it when you run now!

Though because its sooo good I use it everyday for everyday things even if im not working out.

The down side, the elasticity goes after a while, if you keep taking it on and off, but it lasts for a long time

i'm more than well endowed & i got mine at wal-mart...(granted, it's not my real size...much smaller, but effective in keeping things in place)

i know i have one or two sites bookmarked tho'...when i'm back on my computer, i'll look 'em up & repost

edited to add: one site was www.barenecessities.com (i remembered)- they have full figure sports bras

edited to add 2: the other link was for the Goddess brand sports bra, no longer available at the site i had bookmarked, but they have it at www.lanebryant.com

from barenecessities.com, i'd recommend either the Nike zip front sports bra or the Panache High Impact Sports Bra (been meaning to get one for myself, it's one of the few that come in my size)

i made the mistake of not using good sports bras in the past. i would suggest going to a department store and spending the extra money for a well-made sports bra that has underwires in it (or even if it doesnt have underwires). have the people in the store measure you and try on a few diff kinds. its well worth it.

I'm a runner and it's only Moving Comfort for me. I've tried champion, nike, target, triumph, and I keep coming back to the Moving Comfort range. http://www.movingcomfort.com/

I like their Melbourne range.

I use the house brand of a major sports chain here in France. I'm no longer endowed like I once was, and so now it's no prob to walk in and find a great fit in the medium section.

I also use a zip-up style water-ski top a lot and it's actually the most supportive boob-unit I own.

I love my moving comfort and champion bras. Totally worth the extra $$, especially if you're top heavy like me ;) They work great for running. Title Nine has some good stuff too.

Ag! This is so frustrating!
I'll just come out and say it, I am a 36G and probably won't go down or up with weightloss cause I never had before.
Bras I find that are a G cup start at 38 or 40 and most places end at DD or if I'm lucky, an E.

All I want it is a sports bra

Thanks for all the sites ladies!

Edit: oooo I think I may have found one! http://www.laurensilva.com/Glamorise_Superior_Supp ort_Sports_Bra_p/glam-1006.htm

My only concern is no underwire

Don't feel bad. I'm on the other end of the spectrum and sometimes I wish I had some more boob-units. Haha! I'm what I call a double-B - barely B! Haha! It gets even worse when I lose weight. The boobs are pretty much the 1st thing to go.

Stina, I feel for you...I'm a 42G, and it's a pain in the arse to find anything in my size in stores, which is why I almost always buy online (or from fredericks, where i have to sacrifice & get the F cup)...my sports bra is probably a DD or DDD (uniboob!)... barenecessities.com has your size, in both regular & sports bras...the one you linked is pretty! (love the colour)

Ha! I played Sir Malcom in Macbeth my senior year, used a whole role of duct tape, by the end my face was blue....

Lilly, I'll definitely do some more looking on barenecessities

I'm more in the camp with Rachel, on the B. But I've always been B and that doesn't seem to change, up or down.

I managed to find some sport bras by Elita. Even better, they were on sale for about $8 each. Though, they only do 32/34/36/etc sizing, and then have support levels 1,2,3. These have been awesome for me, but probably not so good once your much over a C...

I do know that when I looked into sport bras a while ago, I found lots of comments suggesting you go about a size smaller for the extra support, or that many people double up for the support. Unfortunately, sport bras are usually pretty expensive to buy and try only to find out they don't work...

Anyway, good luck.

i have a nike sports bra that is pretty tight and holds me in a place, and i use to wear one from victorias secret too, and it was really tight and held me in. im a dd or more too, so i feel your pain. i dont kno about sports bras with an underwire, but i just wear a tight sports bra over my regular bra, maybe you already had that in mind? i kno figleaves.com has bras that run into bigger sizes too so you could try there. good luck!

Enlist your husband to help while jogging on the treadmill. I'm sure he can assist... and best of all its good quality time together

Actually the women in my family are well endowed and sometimes its a double up... wearing to sports bra. One a little bigger but both comfortable...
