Deborah S traineo Regular Posts: 46 Deborah S My name is Deborah a.k.a Debbie or Deb. I am a 47 year old homeschooling mother of 3. My oldest is soon to be 18 and in her first year of college doing fantastic. My two boys are 14 an 8. I grew up in northern michigan on a lake and was very active. I swam like a fish, water skiied, snow skiied, snow mobiled, played tennis and dabbled in other sports. I was the skinny girl everyone loved to hate, because I could eat anything and everything I wanted and never gain weight. Not so anymore! I have 17 pounds to lose to reach my ideal weight. I'm stoked about this eating plan (I don't believe in diets). If this works I know I could continue this for the rest of my life. And there is plenty of proof on this forum that it does work. So sign me up - I'm coming on board!	# Posted: 16 Feb 2008 22:03 aaahaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaa! I laughed so hard reading this thread I about peed my pants. That's a whole 'nother thread though. If I'd have had beans for lunch I'd have gassed myself to death reading this. Whoowhee I needed a good laugh. Not that I don't take this seriously you know. But I think I will bookmark this thread for those times I need a laugh - you know, when I'm feeling really crappy. aaahaaaaaaahaaaaa - Oh I'm sorry. I'll go now
THE NEW ME The Master Posts: 2856 THE NEW ME HIGHEST WEIGHT 240 in 2000-2002 HIGHEST BODY FAT MEASURED-44% AT 170 CHALLENGE 1: SEPT 07-DEC 07 -LOSE 10 POUNDS-158-148- achieved new goal-lose another 10 by Dec 15 not achieved-Dec 15-weight 142.5 (total weight loss during challenge= 15.5 pounds) -RUN A MILE- achieved on-NOV 7 new goal-run 2 miles-surpassed new goal-run 2.5 b/w Nov 7 and Dec 15.-achieved -LOSE 5% BODY FAT-achieved CHALLENGE 2 DEC 15-MARCH 15 -LOWER BODY FAT by 5% ( not achieved fully but as of 1/08-need to reevaluate-add muscle instead) -RUN 5 MILES-Achieved on 1/11/07 new goal-6 miles by March 15 at 5.0 speed or 5 miles at 5.5(neither achieved and not goals anymore-may try for fun) -LOSE 10 POUNDS -142.5-132.5 (not achieved but very close- 132.6) 6 month progress -lost 25. 4 pounds -lost 9% body fat -ran 0-5 miles Challenge 3 March 15, 07-June 15 -goals -follow plan by nutritionist and trainer -main goal gain lean mass Daily goals- -follow meal plan and move every day Goal of beating personal best- run a marathon weekly goals -gain muscle to the best of my ability 3 month goals -see above-reestablish every 3 months 12 month goals -maintain all the above goals ultimate long term goal -be fit, healthy and confident with body	# Posted: 17 Feb 2008 00:09 you are laughing so hard but next time you have bad gas you wont be laughing too hard!!! but, yes i know what you mean about laughing about it. glad you did!

So sign me up - I'm coming on board!	# Posted: 17 Feb 2008 04:33 Ok point taken. Actually years ago I had irritable bowel syndrome and would have gas pains that literally doubled me over. So I realize it can be a serious problem. But this seemed like more ordinary shall we say recreational gas?? Anyway I enjoyed the posts immensely. I live with a man (my hubby) who can peel paint off the bathroom walls and clear your sinuses with one SBD, so I have to laugh sometimes! Forgive me?
