Hi Everyone and happy valentines day. im very new to traineo and havent figured out how to get around so any advice is great!

my biggest problem is sweets - esp chocolate. i cant seem to get a grip on this and need help. i want to eat better but i have trouble finding things i like to eat and then end up frustrated and go back to eating junk. i work PT and have 2 boys and try to fit in walking (i have a treadmill) so any advice, help and whatever else is greatly appreciated!!

thanks All
Linda

Eh, I'm fed up with discriminating holidays.

Linda, try making a post in the "Introduce Yourself" forum. You'll get more responses there. And welcome to Traineo!

Guys have a holiday too now... Just most people don't know about it... When not at work google March 14th and Steak Day.... Hopefully I don't get in trouble for sharing the info lol.

I meant that it discriminates against single people.

OK.... note to you singles.... Do you have a mom near by? She is always a very willing and happy valentine. I teach school so I really never got out of the 2nd grade mentality of Valentine's Day. It is a fun, cute, day for kids to exchange Valentine's and hopefully give their teacher some chocolate.
My husband is also a teacher, so by Valentine's eve we are pretty heart and valentined out!!! A no fuss take out meal is about all we can muster.

hehe... Steak and B.... yeah, we do have a holiday... And it's good to be single so you don't get the same thing every year

Valentine's day is an awesome day to go out for drinks w/ single friends!

I had a nice champagney French din-din with Hub at a nearby rest.

And Suesue, what a great idea with the Mom-intines.

I gave my Valentine a big 85% Cocoa Extra-Dark Chocolate bar. I love that stuff and it's good for you too. I hope she shares it.
