So if I plan on completely starting my diet over, is there any way to erase everything that we have logged thus far? Or is the only way I can do that is to make a new user name?

I have completely fallen off the wagon since the superbowl. I am quite ashamed and want to just get a fresh start. I hate how I let one little slip up turn into an awful day, then week, and so on...

I am considering just making a new account but I would rather just be able to start over on the one I have.

Don't see a way to delete anything. Just start a new account and erase old memories... Good Luck!

I wouldn't worry about erasing anything. You know you're starting over, so just leave it at that and get back on the bandwagon.

You can do it man.

Just rename yourself to "The New Cardio King" and start over all on your own.

Plus, as Dean often says/types, "we are what we've done", so the sooner you start focusing on what needs to be done, the sooner you'll be reaping what you sew.

USE THE FORCE, ROB. Make yourself proud.

You have beaten the battle by admitting it. Just continue on with that motivation and jump back on the wagon. I would agree with what Minu says that Dean says "we are what we've done"

Don't hide behind a new name or profile, you have already owned up to what has happened, and it is now part of who you are/what you have done. Be proud of yourself for admitting it and start from here. If you must, change your starting weight, but I think you should be who you are, and use that as extra motivation.

Your choice, but I figured I would give my opinion!

I have many times had to post a weight gain on the forums, and it felt horrible, but you know what? It gave me more drive to make this work. Hiding just makes it easier to finally give up. Owning up to it makes you stronger and more confident, and gives you the edge on making this change permanent and succeeding.

Keep it up, you are doing great!!

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone.

This is going to be my year. I am not going to let one slip up ruin everything.

I will probably just switch up my starting weight and just move forward from this day on. I had a bad week, oh well, there are plenty of other weeks this year to make up for it.

You can do it Rob!! I had a week slip up over Christmas, gained like 5 lbs and felt like crap, but now I'm back on track and ready to reach my goal! You can do it too!

I did the same thing. My original starting weight was 245. Then, I ignored my weight till I got to 264. When I started losing weight, Traineo kept telling me I had gained weight since I had started even though every week I was dropping pounds. I ended up setting my starting weight to 264, since that's when I got serious about losing.

i agree with the above comments, you need to move on from it (i know, easier said than done) and start from NOW. you can do it! (says tony little). throughout life we make mistakes and we learn from them. let this be one of your mistakes and learn from it. we are here to support you.

Rob...

Imagine Tony Little and/or Richard Simmons coming after you if you don't start over today. That's enough to motivate anyone into a gym just to get away from them.
