Hi,

I'm looking to get a unit to measure blood pressure at home. Can anyone recommend a good make and features I should look out for?

Thanks.

Not sure about makes, but all you really need is something which will measure your systolic and diastolic pressures - get a standard sphygmomanometer - doctors use the good old fashioned analogue type, and there's probably a good reason they do so!

eBay looks like a good place to start, maybe - http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?satitle =sphygmomanometer&catref=C3&from=R2

I've decided to get the Microlife BP A100 Plus. It's an upper-arm fully automated unit that is certified to give accurate readings. It also has a 30 day memory.
