I'd bet that, by and large, Traineo-ites are a serious, determined, dedicated and disciplined bunch.

To lighten things up a bit and help us keep things in perspective while we pursue our regimens, I thought we could post humorous items here.

I'll kick things off by asking if anyone has considered purchasing a Geek-a-Cycle.

I sooo need the Geek-a-Cycle!

Yesterday, a friend and I were discussing how great the world would be if the rules for gaining and losing weight were the way they SHOULD be. Here are a few rules from that alternative universe that we liked:

1. Chocolate would have powerful thermogenic properties. Eating white chocolate, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate at the same time would burn up to three times the calories ingested.

2. Metabolism would be slowest when we are young and, therefore, most active and would gradually speed up with age to burn more calories in direct proportion to time spent sitting at a desk.

3. One container would = one serving. No serving would contain more calories than the sum of the numbers in the zip code of the location where the food was prepared. (Massachusetts-02138 would therefore be one of the leading foodie locations).

4. No food could ever pack on more weight than it weighed itself.

5. Eating would would be considered an aerobic activity.

There must be many others. Care to add to the list?

That Geek-a-Cycle thing looks awesome... Actually, I've seen similar things before: you get, basically, a pair of pedals on a little footstand that goes under your desk and, well, you pedal! I don't know how much my co-workers would appreciate it, though

I have looked for these- they are out there, I found them awhile ago on ebay, but have since forgotten what they are called... If I could only remember I would buy one... I have a very sedantary job, and I need all the extra help I can get.
