I'm a grad student. I am trying to lose about 20 lbs to ease my knee pain.
I do cardio/weights 4-5 times a week. I also bike 7-8 miles on my daily commute. I love to work out, but boy do I love food, too... :-)

I told you not to worry about using sizes. Keep using your tape. And believe me, the results are evident without it. Good job! Keep it up.

My motivation disappeared for awhile, and quite frankly it's not all that visible at the moment. Sometimes ya just gotta do it anyway, though. I tried setting small attainable goals for myself, but then I got lazy and the "next week syndrome" kicked in. Now I'm giving myself something HARD to do...lose 11 pounds in 30 days. If ONLY I had Bob or Jillian here to kick my butt!!!!

A few ups and downs with the weight lately. Losing those last 10 lbs again now. Revised fitness plan: -some cardio EVERY day for a month to remove the revenge of the hip fat -some weight training, some pilates -I love biking and lots of fun summer sports! That's what it's all about-good times!
I will eat healthy foods and let my body weigh what it wants to weigh. I concentrate on whole grains, lean proteins, fruits and veggies, and I will eat delicious chocolate when I want to! Guilt has been removed from my vocabulary.
The wave of passion can be an unstoppable force.

I am a slow runner, decent snowboarder, and aim for wiisports rookie of the year. I have strong legs, eastern european calves, and like to lift things my boyfriend thinks I can't. A busy and constantly changing schedule make it hard to get into and stay in a workout routine. I'm a crusader for medical scientific truth in nutrition and weight loss discussions and I heart fiber.

I used to be reasonably fit and slim when I was in college, but have been gaining weight steadily ever since I got married.
I do next to no exercise apart from playing occasional ping pong with my co-workers.
But this is all going to change!! My goal is to train, train and train and get back to my true old self (i.e, ~175lbs).

There are five things I do every week, not always in this order:
MTV Power Yoga (its yoga, but gets your heart rate up there, and also sooo relaxing!) approx 50 mins
Dancex with Ken Kihu- I SWEAR by that DVD! I recommend it to everyone! I started seeing results quicker once I started doing this DVD! approx 45 mins
Sweating to the Oldies 1 with Richard Simmons- (Yeah I know, *snicker snicker*, but I love it!) approx 40 minutes
Dancing with the Stars- Dance your way to fitness (Don't really do this one often, its more them showing off than anything) approx 1 hr
Weight training- 40 mns
I do sets of 25, break, do another 25, then switch to something else. I rotate 4 times so I end up doing 200 sets. It doesnt feel like 200 just because I break it up.
Jogging- 20 mns
I won't lie, this usually turns into speed walking lol. I tend to do do this at night when its quiet, cooler, and it's just a nice way to end my day
