I have lost over 100 pounds and maintained that loss since December of 2002. I lost using Weight Watchers and am still a member. In 2005 I was a Weight Watchers online success story and my weight loss has been featured in National Enquirer as well as in Women's Own (a weekly mag in the UK).
I changed my life completely from being an overeating couch potato to an athlete. I have run five full marathons, at least twice as many half marathons, a number of shorter races, and am currently training for my first ultra-marathon; a 50k in March 2007. My goal is to run a marathon in every state; 4 down, 46 plus DC to go (one of mine was in British Columbia). I also have done sprint triathlons and am very seriously considering a half ironman in 2007, if I can get a swim coach.

Okay, that's the name of my blog...I don't know that I truly believe I am "fabulous" but the play on words is fun.
Anyhow, I lost my weight using Weight Watchers. I started my official first weigh in at 222 pounds on February 2, 2002. On December 14, 2002 I reached my goal weight of 130. A month later I was down to 120 and I maintain between 117 and 122 through a combination of exercise and healthy eating.
Roy has lost 90 pounds as well. This is us in January of this year after the Walt Disneyworld Marathon. It was his first marathon and my third.
I mentioned to Gabe in his thread that I had surprised my family with my weight loss. I had visited them in April of 2002 down about 40 pounds. NO ONE noticed. I was so bummed. So I decided not to say anything until I saw them in December. When my brother came to pick me up at the airport he walked past me three times!

I'm a writer and a web developer. Neither is a very active occupation, so I'm trying now to make up for a lifetime of sedentary activity and overeating. I'm not tracking calories since I'm following the Weight Watchers Core Program, where calories are not tracked.

I've lost 55 lbs. on WW (counting points) but after a brief stint on WW Core plan, I've gained back a few. Now I'm back to counting points and losing the rest of my weight.

Hi! I am in charge of Marketing and Promotions at traineo and I feel very fortunate to be a part of a team that is dedicated to helping a large number of people reach their health and fitness goals.
Health and fitness has always played a large part of my life. Growing up, I played tennis, basketball, and ran. In college, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to represent my college in two disciplines - track/cross country as well as basketball. Currently I am still running competitively for a local track club and enjoying every minute of it.
I am always interested in meeting new people so feel free to send me a message. I am also continually looking for new ways to promote traineo and would love to hear from you if you have specific suggestions. Have a great day.

Well, that disqualifies me, because I'm rarely serious. But thanks. Seems to have worked great for you. Thanks for the inspiration.

My fitness regimen includes stationary cycling, light weight training and lots of walking around NYC. I'm a graduate of WeightWatchers and an enthusiastic advocate of its balanced approach to weight loss. I'm sure that I drink too much coffee and get too little sleep. :)
My goals are to maintain my weight in a healthy BMI/BF % range and forestall the toll of advancing age. :)
I think Traineo's established a great community and appreciate the support and information we share.
You'll find me elsewhere on the Web at http://claimid.com/nycinephile

Being insulin resistant, I have had weight issues since childhood. About 3 years ago I was at my heaviest weight at 90kg. Over time with diet and exercise, I brought the weight down to 66kg. Over the past year the weight has slowly crept up to around 73kg. The main reason is that I cheat on my diet. My workout routine: about an hour of step aerobics done to home videos 5 days a week, resistance training at the gym for about an hour each, 4 days a week and and 1 hour of yoga once a week.

Tory,
You are a living example of good health and a fit mind and body.
My energy and resolve to get rid of the last few pounds have been renewed after seeing your pictures.
I was beginning to lose heart but now I feel like I CAN achieve it!

After many years of bad portion control, bad diet and sitting in front of way too many computer screens, I have hit and gone over the magic age of 40. Funny how doing that will cause one to re-address their health.

Outstanding job for both of you. You should feel very proud. Marathons are bruttle and your have done three and Roy 1. Me = 3/4 of one. I shattered a knee cap and that, was the end of my running career.

I'm supporting my wonderful man as he embarks on his journey of becoming physically fit. I love fitness and try to engage in vigorous exercise every single day. It makes you feel even more amazing than you end up looking! I would love to motivate others who are looking for a little push!

The heaviest I've been is over 170lbs in 2005 but I made the effort to eat healthier and start exercising and I managed to lose a lot of weight. Now I want to get fit and improve my health further and this looks like the place to do it!
What has surprised me most about exercise is the positive effect it has on my mental health. I suffered from severe depression for several years and exercise has played a huge part in my recovery and subsequent management of the condition.
In short, this is not a 'diet' or a fad for me; it's a lfestyle change because really that's the only way to do it :)

Hi! I am trying to lose my freshman 25. I am trying to lose 30 pounds to get back to my original weight. At the same time, I want to be lean and toned. I enjoy activities like running on the treadmill, doing the elliptical and dancing.
