I am 34 years old, married and a father of a 2.5 year old. They are the motivators for me to reach my goal. I started the new journey on 8/21/06 @307 lbs and as of June '08, I have lost around 108 lbs. I have been able to keep 100 lb weight loss since Sept. '07. What keeps me on track is the Traineo community, vision of a healthy and fit future and the mini-goals below. *GOAL 1 = 244 lbs, Date = 2/15/07 Date Met = 2/7/07 *GOAL 2 = 229 lbs, Date = 3/22/07 Date Met = 3/30/07 ________________________ *GOAL 3 = 199 lbs, Date = 6/30/08 Date Met = 6/5/08 *GOAL 4 = 185 lbs, Date = 09/30/08 Date Met = TBD (185 is my "ultimate" goal. Then build muscle.)
Hobbies/Interests: Baseball, White Sox, bowling, WII, Xbox 360, PSP, XM, Opie and Anthony radio show, Ron and Fez radio show, variety of music, working out, running.
Personal Records: 5K - 26:18 (4/14/08-8:29/mile pace) 10K- 54:56-9/16/07-(8:43/mile pace) 10 Mile Run - CXLD due to injury Marathon - 10/12/08
Advice: - Set a Deadline: "A goal is a dream with a deadline - Napolean Hill." - Set Mini Goals - They help you accomplish small milestones on your way to the "ultimate" goal. - Track your progress. - Plan everything out. Daily workout routines, meals, etc. - Be patient. Your goals will eventually be met, if you work hard.

Well I am not much of a person to "brag" but if you click on the link below you will go to my blog and you will see my before and after pictures. These are not pictures I posed for, so the before picture may not show all the fatness that was going on. In that pic I was 307 lbs, size 50-52 pants and mostly 3XL shirts. In the after pic, I am 217, size 38 pants and size XL shirts.
Hopefully at the end of the year, I will be able to have a pic of me at 185 lbs.
I still have a lot of work to do, so this is a journey and not something I am going to stop working at.

I\'m trying to find things I enjoy so that I will stick with the program. I don\'t want to obsess over what I eat, like I have done in the past. I want to eat a healthy amount of healthy food. I realize I have a long way to go, but I can do this! I will do this!

Way to go Fred! You look great! You’ve probably figured out by now that you feel great to. You should be so proud of what you have accomplished and not just for yourself but your family as well. After reading your blog I felt so encouraged today. Keep up the good work.

I'm a network security engineer who enjoys fencing and weight training, happily married, and trying to lose the weight I gained the past few years due to inactivity and medications. I'm aiming to get back into the suits I used to wear when I had a "suit job".
I put my starting weight as it was the day I joined traineo, but I'd lost 32lbs since my peak of 205 lbs, size 18.
