One of my favorite albums to listen to while cycling is LCD Soundsystem's 45:33.

I'm a fan of the LCD Soundsystem as well.
Depends on what you're looking for.
If you're into techno/house/trance, maybe check out Armin Van Buuren's podcast "A State of Trance".
Or possibly Thievery Corporation. Or DJ Shadow if you dig trip-hop.
Tokyo Police Club has a couple decent tracks. I'm a fan of "Box" off of the Smith EP
Anberlin has good stuff too. Adelaide and Godspeed off the newer album.
Kings of Leon - Taper Jean Girl or Aha Shake
Anything by Linkin Park if you like their stuff.
The new Coheed and Cambria album No World For Tomorrow has good tracks.
Vendetta Red's album Between The Never and The Now
Red Hot Chili Peppers are always appropriate. Always.
Or if you're into electronica, The Postal Service has one album out. And it's fantastic

It really depends on your taste in music. I could lay out tons more stuff for you to try. I see too much music as it is because I work at my school's radio station. I can barely say that I like one thing more than anything else.

Matt Taylor.
I just realized.
You have the same name as the bassist from Motion City Soundtrack.
Another good band to try. The new album is awesome, but if you want cardio tracks, listen to their album I Am The Movie.

Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they haev to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary.
Impossible is NOTHING.

I must be a freak but music just fades away after the first 5 minutes of cardio for me since, by then, I'm usually just praying for God to end the agony that is machine assisted cardio.
That being said if I actually bother with music, my first 5 minutes I like to listen to a lot of underground hip hop or break beats since I used to breakdance when I was younger, lighter and more flexible heh. Old school stuff though, Rocksteady Crew or whatever.
My last run that I actually brought my Zune on (yes I have a Zune, Zune Pass > all) I picked a random album without looking and hit play when the treadmill got up to speed and it turned out to be the Grease soundtrack. Running and broadway go together like rama lama lama ka ding a de ding a dong.

I'm 42 and really need to shed some major weight. I'd love to do weight loss surgery or lap band but I'm just too scared to go under the knife. I don't exercise much cuz there's not a lot that I can do right now other than walk do water fitness class twice a week. I'm a former Lifetime Member of Weight Watchers (reaching goal as a preteen or teen - can't hardly remember that far back) and I'm currently in a TOPS group. I need that group support for accountability as I don't believe much in will-power anymore. I'm not a fan of veggies and fruit - which I'm trying to change. I can use all the motivation and prayers your can send my weigh (lol).

never heard of ellegarden. i don't really seek out music anymore, just usually accidentally discover it because of my annoying scenester friends. there was this old compilation called Moshi Moshi, an international pop compilation, it has a bunch of jappop that really gets me into a sort of panic attack adrenaline mode (sort of like listening to techno or creepier radiohead songs).
speaking of, idioteque is a good workout song.
i question if ATCQ is limited to any race.

I have a preference for techno, especaillt when it has a good beat and there's a lot of rhythm.
Dimrain47 is an artist I found on Newgrounds that has awesome techno:

I think any music from New Order works.
On the indie rock side... The King Left album "New York Nothing" is always on when I am at the gym as of late and also Brandtson's album "Hello Control."
Justice

Daft Punk
They all work!

But I do think white people can be.
A Tribe Called Quest is "branching out" for some white people.

Matt Pond Pa - Several Arrows later is an awesome album.
Mastodon - Leviathan gets me pumped up when I'm digging some heavy music.
Infected Mushroom if I'm looking for electro/dance
m1dy is great for a pump up if you can tolerate gabber, which is the weirdest style of music to exist (I think)
finally a friend of mine got me listening to Pendulum which is really awesome drum and bass.

This may not be to everyone's taste, but try "Evil German Techno" by KMFDM. I think they worked with Rammstein on this.
If anything, it's probably a nice change from the other music you have.
It's intense. :P
Oh, and I agree that Cake is awesome too.

I hope to have a bikini body for this summer.
I was more fit when I was back in college. (which was 2 years ago)
I'm stuck in this cycle of the YO YO diet. I'll work out and eat right for six months then it all goes down hill for the rest of the year.
So one day I googled a fitness support group and came upon traineo. I'm glad I did!
