Quoting: daniellegorman
Putting on a shirt that as way to tight to wear (its a blouse) and you haven't tried on since you started working out and you put it on one morning and it fits! (Actually its almost too big)! Yay.

I will have to trust you on this one.... I don't have any blouses that are too tight.... or too big for that matter.

Great job! Congrats! Keep up the good work - before you know it you will be throwing that one away! (or donating it actually)

I just had the best the best work out in a long time... Instead of trying to go like i did in high school and getting tired in 15 minutes, I took my time and kept it going for an hour. I feel so great and alive! I missed this feeling.

wow-danielle-awesome feeling!!

i went shopping today and im not down a size but it was a nice feeling to go to the store and shop in the regular size section and be able to put on clothes off the rack and just try them on and have them fit!! (not that i liked the way everything looked but knowing things can look better and some things did look decent!)

nice job ara!!! keep it up!!!

minu-glad you like the thread. me too!

kelli-great job!!!! i feel that the only one im competing against is myself and i cant be in high school anymore. im at the level i am at now-probably fitter than i was in high school anyway (just because i was sedentary in high school) but i cant compare myself to others or turn back the time, i can only look forward and make improvements from here on in.

WOW that would be such an awesome feeling Jenn buying clothes from the regular size section!!!! I am looking forward to that in the future!!

I know what you mean trying something on and not liking the way it looked though lol..I tried something on today, 2 sizes smaller than what I used to wear and it fitted well BUT looked horrible on me haha I think it was the fabric or the cut of the garment but yeah, just did not look good on me...

thanks samantha-it is a nice feeling and you will get there!!! the truth is even if we had the "perfect" body not everything would look good! its funny b/c i used to wear everything so baggy and now im trying to wear things more fitted and i keep doubting myself about how everything fits so i have to keep asking for help in the store until i get more confidence in trusting myself about wearing the right size. it will come with the time.

I did an hour and half of cardio today. When I roll out of bed in eight hours, I'll be looking for more. I've got a lot of skinny clothes I'd like to get into yet.

i forgot to mention a positive that i had yesterday. so i went shopping in a department store about a month ago and this nice lady helped me and when i went back i asked for her help again yesterday. i had asked if she could remeasure me because i had just lost weight and she asked how much blah blah blah and how i did it blah blah blah and she said she didnt want to exercise and she knew she had to. i told her try to find something you like and just start with a little bit. anyway, when i went back yesterday she was thrilled to tell me i inspired her and she is now exercising on her bike! i was very happy for her and happy i helped to inspire her.

Yesterdays positive was someone at work stopped me in the hall to ask "are you still losing weight?"

I had to admit it is very very slow, but yes I am still losing weight. But, that gave me confidence that even though the lbs aren't coming off as fast that I am still redistributing well

I finally compared my pictures from 3 weeks ago to today. http://tinyurl.com/2vdxfa

And on the way in to class today I ran in to a girl who actually noticed the change and complemented me. That was awesome. Not to mention my fiancee's reaction

Thankfully, my scale has had dead batteries for awhile. After replacing them today, I was surprised with a 3 lb. weight loss. Wahoo!

I've lost 3 pounds in 6 weeks since I started working full time. I feel great about it considering how little free time I have now.

I've taken the last week entirely off the gym and am actually feeling great - I was always tired and getting sore a lot so I think I was overtraining a little. I was actually able to get up at 5:30am this morning, instead of the usual laying in bed until 730/45, and I've lost 3lbs in the past 8 days

Today is my one month anniversary on Traineo. I've worked off 12 pounds during that time period. I had been working out for a month previous to my start date here, so I know it isn't all water. I really do think this site helps you keep on keepin' on and am glad I found it.

Someone at work just asked me if I wanted some of her clothes (they are brand new, she just bought too much and never ended up wearing them) she mentioned the size (which is actually 2 sizes smaller than what I currently wear) and said "They are probably too big for you actually, aren't they?".. heh.. I wish i was that size, but its kind of nice to hear that others aparently don't see me as the size i am. Gives me even more motivation to actually get there, because then i'll look even better!

derek-congrats! keep it up! i love this site. i feel it helps you be held accountable as well!

linaeve-wow! thats a nice compliment! that would make me feel good as well!!

im having trouble thinking of a positive today b/c i am so cold and have a terrible headache but this is the positive thread so i will say that i have been continuing to do what i am supposed to do meaning i am taking care of myself in healthy ways. now that is positive!

tonight i went to a bar/club that i haven't been to in a while, and i saw a whooooole bunch of people i havent seen in months. and i swear, every single one of them said something like, "omg you look so good!" or "you look so tiny!" now, granted, i'm far from tiny, BUT, i spose im "tiny" compared to how i was before (the last time they probably saw me). and i gotta tell ya....... it felt so good!!!! i haven't felt that good about myself in a long while. and the fact that i have worked SO hard to get this far, it makes it feel ALL THE MORE BETTER. and for all you people who feel like you aren't getting anywhere......... just keep going! seriously - i basically cut my calorie intake in half, and went from NO exercise, to exercising at least 3 times a week; at first i saw NO results, for the first 2 weeks or so... and of course i was really down on myself and felt *as usual* like it would never happen for me. but - despite my depressive/negative feelings, i kept with it.. and soon enough, i started seeing results. now - i am so happy that i actually stuck with something, as difficult as it was - and am seeing my body change into a form that i have never imagined it being. sorry that i'm totally blabbering but - this is a "positive thread" and i'm feeling VERY posi right now! good luck to all on your journeys, and remember - it's supposed to be hard, its supposed to be a journey, so don't give up, just keep pushing, and know that the end result will be so much more worth it than you can even imagine right now. toodles ;)
