I bet if you run to Cambridge they'll give you a traineo t-shirt.

One word: FREE. Same reason we all love(d) buffets.

I can't pass up cashing in on free food or getting the best bang for my buck. Even though I am a lot better at resisting those things lately.

been utterly depressed for over a week now, but i have a positive! i've been "chair dancing" for the past hour now, listening to music i love on pandora, & now my bum is sore! LOL...i'm not logging it or anything, but at this point, any movement is a good sign!

Awesome!!! I just went through a similar transition at the end of last week - I'm still chair dancing (and I may be singing and tapping my hands/feet as well!)

AND.... I haven't smoked since Sunday!!!

My positive for today: I ran the hill by my house for 6 loops and was able to keep the pace in each loop. I could never do that in the past. It was the 1st time I could complete 6 loops and still have energy. (I have to stop because of time to go to work. )

Not sure if it is indeed the new diet’s credit or thur months of hard training. I am sure the vitamins I took this morning contain no steroids.

Dave, Sher, Glovia and Cardio - they are all FANTASTIC positives!! Congrats to all

I got another comment from the girl I work nights with - she said "Lookin' good Sam" I politely said thanks but I always feel awkward with the comments I KNOW I am looking different slowly but I still 'see' myself as how I used to look before I commenced my journey

glovia- give yourself some credit girl!!!

cardio-glad you got back to the gym again.

samantha-i am glad you are getting compliments. i know the feeling about feeling awkward. i always take compliments now even when i dont necessraily feel it and sometimes i still even see myself as the before self as well. it takes time for that to change.

Two days ago my wife and I received a phone call that we have been approved to adopt in the State of Florida! And then our caseworker told us that the two older children that we had been told were no longer available to adopt are still available! After a lot of prayer, and reviewing the journey in this process for the past 6 months, we are moving forward with trying to adopt them even though we have a baby on the way! And tonight we will actually be meeting them!

WOW, Dad! That's wonderful news, (hoping you are in Florida, heheh), enjoy the eve. and the rest of the term with mom.

My positive? It's sunny, it's the first day this year I've gone out without a scarf, and I just enjoyed a nice chunk of it with pooch on a speedy little walk amongst all those beautiful tulips.

YUM.

Jeff, you are doing such a wonderful thing. Bringing three new lives into your home. Bless you and your wife I hope you have the start of a beautful journey with them from tonight!

Glovia, awesome on the hills!!! When i run a hill, its as if im hopping on the spot and take forever to reach on the top !

Cardio, awesome job on the working out !!!!

Sam, i understand the awkwardness! After being overweight for 2 years, when anyone passed a comment, i would go red...and be like...are they just kidding or is it true. But obviously the scale, my efforts and the way i stared fitting into clothes told me it was true!!! So gradually you will start accepting that ...wow ...you look HAWT!!!!

Jenniferrrrrrr...you are always welcome

Great news Jeff! I will pray for you and your new family.

My brother in law is in the process of adopting 3 kids in Minnesota. So far he is early in the process and we are praying it all goes through.
