Yea, I understand. I have had the www.2big.org domain for a few years, and when I bought it I wasn't even thinking about weight - too funny. But recently over the past year it took on a new meaning to me.

If anyone wants to start a blog and use theirname.2big.org I don't mind pointing that to their blog and even setting up an e-mail address for them if they would like it.

I had thought about it a few weeks ago, and thought that it may be kinda cool. I might start offering it on my blog, so if you want to get your name ask now.

The only thing I ask is that you link back to my blog on your blog, and that your blog be about weight-loss, fitness, etc. I don't want no crap or porn or anything like that.

So, Ara, if you want ara.2big.org with an e-mail ara@2big.org let me know and I will point it to whatever blogging system you want.

By the way - I use Google Apps for your Domain for the mail so it uses the Gmail interface.

Let me know!

I have listened to a podcast and seen the blog for Dave O (who is on here lately). He probably won't come out and say it himself since he's pretty modest and doing his own thing these days. He is on iTunes I believe & the podcast is zap120 or zap 120 (space or no space, not sure).

I think it is zap120.blogger.com or zap120.blogspot.com.

Dave, care to elaborate and confirm?

I started one (http://fatness2fitness.wordpress.com). However, I have not updated it in a while and I might switch over to something else. This is a "goal" of mine in 2008. I need to move quickly with this because my full time job is getting boring....zzzzzzzzzz.

Tim, I might just take you up on that offer I like the 2big.org name. I will have to figure out how to create a folder and stuff on my mediatemple account. I think I have the design done, although, looking at it now I could make it my portfolio site.....

I used to keep one several years ago, but you can see where that's gotten me. I just stick to my same old online journal now, and I don't even update that one. Yet when I was a more regular journaler (I don't want to say journalist, because that's a little different), I once attended a conference for others like me and met many people much more successful with the whole idea. This was before blogs really hit it big.

Anyway, one of the people I met is quite the talented lady and very successful with weight loss. She has a regular journal and a weight loss journal. Her weight loss journal was actually featured on morning television among other places. She even wrote a book. I thought it was cool how such a pasttime could grow into something so big. I wish I were such a good writer! I never would have known about the whole thing had I not dabbled myself.

Dan, Thanks but yeah, I rarely bring it up unless someone calls me on it.

I need to be more consistent too. I never knew that all this can take so much time. I update the podcast once every few weeks and the blog whenever there is something of interest. My blog is zap120.blogspot.com

@ The New Me:
Wade Wingler also has a motivational blog... He is at http://www.howilost100pounds.com/

Her book is an entertaining read. It's not full of tips and such, but rather anecdotal. There are several short stories from different people about their own weight loss journeys. I think you would really enjoy it, especially if you already like reading blogs.

Really well, thanks! I'm enjoying my food a lot. I am keeping an eye on calories too, and find I'm very satiated on around 1400-1600 a day.

I feel happy and smarter too - no more carb brain fog. Good stuff.

I checked out your profile - congratulations!! You've done so well - your graphs are an inspiration.

You can check out my blog - http://www.patrickcurl.com

I'm working with a radio station in Salt Lake City - and we're going to try and find some sponsors to give me money and prizes for reaching my goals, and I'm also selling advertising in the form of sponsoring my weight loss.

Also giving away promotional space on my blog, for people who donate - you can donate 1 cent per pound, or 2 dollars, or 20 dollars per pound, or more.

My goal is to finally get my life in order, my weight has stopped me in pretty much all areas of my life. I'm wanting to get out of debt, have children, buy a home, get a decent job, etc...

Anyways, let me know what you think!
