"Do you lack confidence in losing weight and keeping it off this time, just because you couldn't do it last time? If so, then you're not alone. Many people dwell on previous weight loss failures. However, is it possible that you didn't fail, but the previous programs failed you? All too often weight loss programs are not practical and cannot be sustained indefinitely. So don't let the failings of other weight loss programs rock your confidence! Rock on with what works for you!"

This is fantastic. I needed this today. People, we CAN do this! This is our year! Don't let anything get in the way of your health and happiness!

Another tip:

"Are you missing some of your favorite foods because you are trying to lose weight? Denying yourself of your favorite foods can really preoccupy your mind. This may take control of your actions and lead to overeating. Let yourself have the high calorie foods you love in small portions. You can make all foods fit into your meal plan as long as you fit them into your daily total."

"Think positive. Don't get discouraged when you feel you are not where you should be with your weight loss. Sometimes it takes time for change. If you are working hard don't forget to praise yourself for your dedication instead of scolding yourself for not being where you planned to be. You may notice that your waistline is slimmer and your pants are rommier. Also, you may notice you are not out of breath every time you take the stairs. There are major accomplishments that you should celebrate."
