It's morning here and my husband has just gone to work after putting me in one of the worst moods. I'm feeling pissed off and quite apathetic. But I can't help but wonder if I could put this aggression I have towards a really hard work out. To both let out some steam and get my mind of things.
Wondering your thoughts on whether that is healthy or not!
Thanks in advance for any input =)

I say yes, you can. I went to the gym once after I had a bad day and was extremely angry. I had one of the best workouts ever. But I believe there's still a fine line between working out your aggression and abusing yourself. So don't lift too hard, or do too much cardio. But a workout should do wonders for your mood. Hope it does!

Another benefit is that the repetitive nature of the exercise is similar to meditation and will help to relax your anger and frustration!

i'd go running. it helps me calm down and usually the more stressed or angry i am, the better the run.

Oh yeah! When I am angry at my spouse, I either exercise or clean the house! Either one seems to allow me to think and work out my steam!!

Go clear your mind while blowing off the steam, then come back, relaxed, and feeling better and talk about what caused it to be such an issue.

Knowing that your relaxed will help you two work it out better...

Thanks so much for all the responses! =)
I think you are all right.
I just felt so apathetic that it was really hard to get myself to go work out - but I did, and I felt muuuch better afterwards indeed.

Now I have Ben Stiller's "Mr. Furious" character stuck in my head. I'm going to go rent Mystery Men this weekend and look up Bob Burden's other authorial work.
