My name is Stephanie, I'm 27 yo. Some people call me Steph... or Donna (hehe). I am a gamer grrl, I love playing my Nintendo Wii, Xbox360, or going to LAN's to play Counter Strike. I love high performance vehicles, mostly imports (awd rally cars FTW!). I'm an IT monkey by day, and a goofball by night. I think that's all I can think of to post about myself right now... if I left something out, let me know! :) ----------------------- Why I'm here: I am 5'2" and somehow gained about 20 lbs of weight that snuck up on me... Ok not really, I was being LAZY, I admit it! So far I've lost half of the weight I need to lose, so I'm here to lose my 2nd half! My profile pic is from 8/20/07. I'll update the pic(s) throughout my progress. ---------------------- My (not so current anymore) Workout Schedule: Krav Maga 3 x's a week, Bellydance 2 x's a week, then some cardio-kickboxing if I can fit it in.

I usually like to listen to loud, intense stuff that can keep me going (at least in the beginning).
Some albums I like:
Dredg - Catch without arms
Mindless Self Indulgence - You'll rebel to anything (warning: explicit!)
Skinny Puppy - Greater Wrong of the Right
Benny Benassi - Hypnotica
Infected Mushroom - I'm the Supervisor
Fischerspooner - Odyssey
Dieselboy - Project Human -or- Dungeon Master's Guide
At the Drive In - Relationship of Command
RJD2 - Since We Last Spoke
Mark Ronson - Version
Nine Inch Nails - Year Zero -or- Any albums really!
Those are what I rotate through on my little ipod shuffle =)
Enjoy!

I want to wear a bathing suit next summer!! I got up to 182 and decided to do something. My new man is a runner, and has me hooked on it with the Nike . I started walking/running intervals recently, and set a goal for myself of 80 miles in the next 12 weeks. Together with a healthier diet, I'm hoping to watch the weight melt off like it already has begun to!

Definitely rock and alternative. That keeps me going. I have a playlist of "workout" music soley for gym time.

Hi! I'm a 44 year-old slightly overweight male looking to loose 30lbs by the end of year. For me, weight loss is just one part of an overall plan for living a healthier lifestyle (as healthy a lifestyle as possible!) In addition to diet and exercise, other elements of my healthy way of life include good sleep, proper hydration, kicking the (smoking) habit, meditation, and disease management (I have rheumatoid arthritis).
I signed up at Traineo because maintaining routines has always been difficult for me. 3 years ago however, after many tries, I was finally able to maintain an exercise routine for a period of 6 months with outstanding results. I then stopped working out so I'd have more time for other things and 3 months later the RA got worse. Since then I've been unable to motivate myself back into the gym.
Well, my motivation is back, due in part to Traineo. I think having a few motivators will be a great help. Also, posting my efforts on the Internet, for the whole world to see, may help to keep me on my toes. I'm not entirely sure about that yet so I may change my profile so only Traineo members can see it.
I'm strong willed, but most of all I crave the results I achieved 3 years ago. So I'm determined, and thus far my spirits remain high. I sure am glad you stopped to read about me and great luck with your own efforts! Cheers!

I usually listen to nothing. For a while I was tote'n around a small mp3 player, but the gadget was more trouble than it was worth; clipping it on someplace, the wire, the ear piece. I prefer simplicity.
I listened to relaxing music, no lyrics, as a way to connect to my breathing. I love listening to my breath when I'm doing cardio. It makes me feel alive, a way to connect with my body. Now I'm able to concentrate on how I breathe without blocking out external noises. Boring to most, I know, but a real joy for me. Cheers.

Wow, I guess I'm oldschool...and I'm not even that old!! Yikes. I filled my ipod w/different playlists for walking, running, cardio. Offhand, I know there is Soundgarden, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails, Led Zepplin, Nickelback, Audioslave, Creed, etc. What's funny is my favorite genre is country, but it just doesn't do it for my workouts--that's my "play" music!
