"By prison workout, I don’t mean what can happen if you drop the soap. I refer, of course, to a complete, total body workout that can be performed in your prison cell or even the bedroom you share with a spouse (the same thing for some of you) using easily obtainable household items and your own bodyweight."

Seems like there have been quite a few questions about this kinda stuff lately so here's a link to an article about it.

I like this person's sense of humor. it's as twisted as my own.

Wow. That's a scary workout. Maybe in a couple months when I need to change up my routine. But maybe not in the shower.

Likin' it. I'm all for the do-it-yourself approach to keeping strong.

This is a good DIY exercise http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajhXDlQhFPw its called the floor mountain climber or floor sprint. Try it you'll be surprised how tough it is to keep going for 30-40 seconds. I love it, it makes me really sweat

I have done that mountain climber before and it is killer to keep it going.

This is the kind of workout I have been looking for/trying to do for a while now, basically anything I can do at home. Great to have a simple breakdown for some things I hadnt thought of.

The mountain climber and the burpees kick my tail.

To complement this approach, be sure to eat the 0.45xlbs body weight in protein for optimal prison muscle gains.

I thought it was 1-2g per lbs body weight.

Getting protein in prison isn't the easiest. Possible but not the easiest

I love this style. I worked out at an old playground near my work like this for a few years. Now, I'm using an out door gym at a park behind my house a few times a week. I get some fresh air and sunshine out of it too. I also have a power tower on my porch where I can do pull ups and dips at anytime. The power tower takes up space, but it has no moving parts, so I don't think it will ever break.

I think it's 1-2g per KG body weight.

Unless you are professional body builder and your job is to traing 40hrs a week, then it might be more ;)

I was referring to the amount of protein that prisoners get in fixed meals. It was a joke and not meant to be under such scrutiny.
