It's a three-day split and combines maximal-effort, low repetition core exercises with some strength-endurance mixed in.
A lot of this looks similar to MaxOT, which I've had very nice strength gains on in just 9 months. MaxOT didn't do much endurance work though, so I'd like to give this a try.
Fundamentally, this focuses on strength first, and looks second. This is very different from HST, which focuses on looks first (as for bodybuilding competitors). HST requires very strict 8-week cycle commitments that I just wasn't able to keep -- no fault of the routine, it was just me.
Anyone interested in giving this a try? I'd love to compare results.
