OMG...I can't even type this post..lol. That had to be the best work out of my arms..legs and abs...ever. I highly recommend it. I never thought I could get a better workout than 3T. I'm 5"9" so I had to blow the ball up to 65cm...hold it between my knees and lift one leg up...can u say whaaaa. I don't recommend this DVD if you haven't mastered Turbo Jam Maximum results.. cause it requires a lot of stamina in your arms and legs...The core work is excellent and she alternates between cardio and abs for 60 minutes the time just flew by it was great. I didn't get a chance to do the other DVD that came with the package but I'll let you guys know OK.... Mental Picture: Imagine doing the elite 11 moves holding a 55-65cm ball with either your arms or legs...That's Turbo Ball!!!!!

About me: --------------------------- I'm an architecture student at a great school.
After trial and error, managed to shed the pounds for real.
What I'm doing: --------------------------- Portion control still a problem. HIIT 2x/week Starting weights 1x/week
I take stairs over escalator and elevator ALL THE TIME (I climb 6 sets of stairs minimum for the day at the metro 2-3floors?).
Extra note: --------------------------- I finally understand what being fit means! And I actually love running now thanks to HIIT.
Goal: lose the belly fat! My problem area. First goal: 120lbs - MET 2nd goal: 116lbs - MET 3rd goal: 112lbs ish with more muscle definition
Realizing I can't change the way my body stores fat and have a noticeable belly during the day (pic was morning with light breakfast after workout) I will work on making a stronger core to counter the pooch a bit
Dropped 1 pant size since last year (stable weight) Dropped 2 pant sizes since mid-Summer after Greece (pastries=weight gain)

Quoting: TurboGirl , if they don't have it maybe Target?
I'm from Canada, we don't have Target, maybe Ontario does but Quebec doesn't. I should check it out, I think my bra is good it's just.. that one workout (Fat Blaster) had so many jumps in it

Hey guys, I just want to know if any of you Turbo Jammers had any success with losing close to 10 pounds and 10 inches overall in 10 days using the 10 day kick start program.
I'm really fit now but quite desperate to lose about 5 pounds, good diet and exercise is not getting me there, probably because I'm overeating so having something so strict as the 10 day program for such a short time would probably allow me to keep on track. Maintaining it isn't really a problem for me, it's just to lose it.
So have you guys had success?
And if I do a second workout in the evening (like the 20 min workout or the elleptical machine, etc, and add like 2 fruits or yogurt and fruit for a post workout snack, do you think that would be okay?)

Alrighty, I too am sheepishly raising my hand -- because I ordered the videos and they've been sitting in the closet....OH THE SHAME! But now that you've all given such rave reviews, I think I'll have to get on it now Any ideas for how to get started with the program? Thanks for the encouragement, folks!

Quoting: nystuckny low weights high reps
I read most places recommended high weights, low reps, forces your muscle a lot more, plus I like the whole fast pain and get it over with method

after 7 days on it, but I'm starting to lose it and I'm caving in a lot with a brownie yesterday and a small slice of banana bread today....
but so far, I lost 2.5 lbs, I don't know if this is real fat, but I don't see a huge difference physically, hopefully by the 10 days I'll have lost 3 lbs for real or hopefully, aiming for 4, which won't happen since I hardly have time to eat as is because I'm running around working and selling stuff....
But I can do it!!!

actually hit a plateau on like day 6 but it's been the exact weight (not even 0.1 difference) so... any suggestions?
after day 10 I'm planning on either going back on JUDDD (when I did I lost only water weight and gained it right back!) + exercise on up days
or eating 900 calories one day and 1500 calories another day and exercising more intensly on days where I eat 1500 calories (total of 1200cals/day)

I've been overweight since middle school (ew) and i'm just trying to get this weight off before i start school again (in August).
Right now i weigh 169lbs and i am 5,3.... great.
My goal is to loose 30 pounds. My diet right now is to just cut out sodas all together and only drink water, eat 3 meals a day (and fruit breaks), and excercise for 30 to 60 mins a day for 5 days out of the week!

hi! i just order turbo jam ( i heard that it was really great!) and i'm kinda wondering what kind of diet goes best with the workouts. right now i'm basically drinking ONLY water and eating three meals a day. My workouts right now are just the treadmill 30 mins a day for 5 days a week up until my turbo jam has arrived!

^ My Question is similar to Monica's! For thoe of you who have seen results with TJ, what kind of diets were you on? Anything special? Or just lower calorie intake or what?
Thanks!
I'm finding it hard to master the Elite 11 moves!

I have had tremendous success with a low-fat vegan diet and turbo jam.
I started out doing the 20 minute workout until I was able to finish without feeling totally wiped. It took me about a week and I lost 5 pounds during that week.
Then I switched to the 50 min workout which I love love love! The music is fantastic I even go to sleep with the music bouncing through my head.
Every 4th day I do another Beach body program called Slim in Six (burn it up). SIS isnt as fun and motivating as TJ but its challenging and is a great way to mix up my routine.
I haven't hit a plateau yet. Its now day 61 (2 months) and Ive lost 30lbs and 2 pant sizes. I see a lot of difference in my face. The biggest prize of all though is how I feel. I feel stong and energetic. I actually look foreword to each mornings workouts!

I've been interested in losing weight and gaining muscle here at traineo since late 2007. Its not until mid 2008 that i've actually started my training routine 5 days a week. Trying to get to under 19% body fat.

Yeah I am in your same situation. I don't need a really big size screen.... otherwise it would take too long to download. Just enough to see the workout would be great! Otherwise I can't really do turbo jam. I wish someone could put say 10 minutes of each on youtube, cause then I would just simply repeat it. Or at least have them in the background but mainly focusing on the tv so we can see what we're doing lol

HI!
my question is for everyone who uses turbo jam maximum result..
Ok well I just started turbo jam maximum result and i also have the advance one (3T, Cardio Party Mix 3&2, Fat Blaster, lower body jam, Punch Kick & Jam). I have the book guide and it has the plan of what workout I should do everyweek and everyday. When i looked at it, it only includes the main 5 workouts (Learn & Burn, 20 minutes, Turbo Sculpt, Cardio Party, Ab Jam) in the plan. So my question is, when should i start using the advance workouts, and once i start using it, do i stop using the 5 main workouts? or can i do all of them and just plan themby myself? and also is there a limit of how many workout i can do in a day?
-Thank you ^^

I'm *starting* to enjoy running - at least on my treadmill. And I can't wait for ChaLean Extreme to come out this December! Hoping my hubby will do that with me. :)
Okay...new goal (for now) of 150 lbs. 152 lbs would give me a "normal" BMI for the first time in 15 years, and 150 lbs will mean a total of 100 lbs lost. That's only 14 lbs away! I can DO this!

I've been using TJ on and off (mostly on) for about 6 or 7 months now. I didn't see the 10 lbs and 10 inches in 10 days thing they advertise, but I wasn't looking for that when I ordered my first videos anyway. I have lost several inches and lbs while using TJ, and I really do love the videos. I think most of them provide a great workout, and are definitely a great part of any exercise routine.
To answer your question, Dan, you can mix in the advanced videos any time you want to. Sometimes I do the same video for several days in a row, other days I switch videos every day, and sometimes I double up on videos - like Ab Jam and Cardio Party Remix in one day or Booty Sculpt and 20 minute workout another day. Feel free to mix and match the videos however you want, and as long as you aren't hurting yourself or setting yourself up to burnout, I don't think there is a limit to how many videos you do each day.
Hope that helps!

So I bought TJ about 7 months ago and never really stuck with it. I'm wanting to really get back in there and stick with it, but I'm wondering if it is really going to help me shed the 15-20 pounds that I NEED off. If I do it everyday from not until Christmas, it is possible that I could loose it?
Thanks for the help and support!
Also, do you guys find that working out in the morning is more affective than the evenings?

Quoting: imhere If I do it everyday from not until Christmas, it is possible that I could loose it?
The more important question is, what is your diet from now to Christmas going to look like? That will affect your weight much more than your exercise - not that exercise isn't important. What I'm trying to say is that if you do turbo jam from now to Christmas and eat a very clean, low cal, well balanced diet, you might possibly be able to lose 15 lbs. However, if you eat 5,000 Cal a day of pizza, coke, and Whoppers while doing Turbo Jam, then no you aren't going to see results.
Quoting: imhere Also, do you guys find that working out in the morning is more affective than the evenings?
It's a personal preference thing and also has to do with your schedule. I tried working out in the mornings before work for a few weeks, and it really felt like I was gonna die of exhaustion. I kept trying to make it work, but it just could not work with my schedule and my body (much more of a night owl). However, on Sat, I like to get up around 9:00 or 9:30 and go get my work out done and over with. It's a nice start to the day and makes me feel energetic for whatever else I've got going on. So really it's just a matter of what you want to do. The best time for you to work out is the time that you are going to stick with.
