Recently I have been getting really bad pains in my stomach area, mostly in the afternoons or late morning. It doesnt matter whether I have exercised my abs or not and so I think its hunger pains. Does anyone else have really painful hunger pains? I am trying to lose weight, I am 6 1, 85kg large but not huge build and have lost 2 stone in the last 4 months from exercising 6 times a week for between 500-1000 calories worth.

I make sure I eat a reasonable amount of protein and just over 2000 calories a day. If any of this sounds concerning please say as I haven't had these pains before and now I am and just wondering if I just need to eat more. As I presume my body has to be really hungry to hurt that much so I will still lose weight.

Please excuse the rushed effort on this its lunch time and I didnt have much time to type.

Thanks

If this is a new thing and you haven't changed your routine at all, then see a doctor! Really severe pains in your stomach are not good.

How many times per day are you eating and when? And when are you getting the pains in relation to the eating times?

I'm still with Rachael on this one: it's worth getting looked at. Pangs and pains aren't the same thing at all, even when you're really hungry.

definitely see a doctor, especially if you've been yo-yo dieting (lose weight, gain weight, lose weight again and repeat). That type of pattern often results in kidney stones... but I'm no doctor.

If you're hungry you should just get rumbles I think... nothing painful.
