I am back and ready to get at it again this Monday, so I am trying to develop a workout Routine.

I want to start:
From Couch to 5k to Marathon
Zero to One Hundred Push-Ups in Six Weeks
Shovelgloving http://www.shovelglove.com/

I want to lose weight and some muscle while doing it but I do not want to spend the money on a gym until I have lost at least 30 pounds. Reason being I don't want to go get a membership and then not use it. I also want to see how much weight I can lose with as little money as possible.

I am buying my own groceries and cooking my meals and packing lunches now so my diet will be improving.

The couch to 5k should take 6 weeks as well as the One hundred push ups. So I should be losing weight and working my muscles with the push ups and the Shovelgloving

The shovelgloving is total experimental but in theory it sounds like it will work. I would love your guys feed back on this one.

I would also like your feed back on my program.

Monday through Friday Push-Ups / Shovelgloving
Monday Wednesday Friday Run

Thanks!

You need to be doing some kind of lifting with your legs probably. The pushups and the shovelgove are gonna be more of an upper body work out. Throw some squats, deadlifts, and or lunges in the mix. It doesn't have to be anything crazy since you will be running too, but you really don't want to wind up with little bird legs.

I am also starting the 100 pushup challenge. I hadn't even read any of your posts before I decided to do this!

The planets truly must be aligned.
